Inside Evan Ross' Relationship With Wife Ashlee Simpson
Evan Ross and Ashlee Simpson have won over the hearts of their fans with their sweet relationship and adorable family. The pair truly seem suited for each other and their admirers cannot get enough. The couple first sparked dating rumors back in 2013 when they were spotted together at the launch of Jessica Simpson's fall campaign. At the time, sources told Us Weekly that the duo were simply longtime friends. "Evan and Ashlee have been friends for a really long time, probably 10 years. They have a long bond. They already know each other really well," the informant dished.
However, later that year, Ross confessed his love for Ashlee. "I'm so in love and we've got amazing things going on. And we inspire each other. So it's cool. She's The One," Ross boldly stated in November 2013. The following year, the couple announced their engagement.
The couple ultimately got married at the home of Evan's famous mother, Diana Ross, in Greenwich, Connecticut. Ashlee's son Bronx, whom she shares with ex-husband Pete Wentz, sweetly walked his mother down the aisle. Later, Ashlee revealed that her co-parenting relationship with Wentz has been "great" following their divorce. "We have a great family. We really lucked out," she admitted. In addition, Ross also confessed that he and Wentz were pals. "He's amazing. Yeah, we're all close friends. Thank God," he said.
Evan Ross and Ashlee Simpson continue to grow their family
Evan Ross and Ashlee Simpson are a stunning couple, and fans loved seeing the pair create a family together with Simpson's son Bronx. However, it was not long until they expanded their family. In 2015, Simpson's rep confirmed the news that the singer and her hubby were set to welcome a baby girl. Jagger Snow was born on July 30, per E! News. A few years later, the couple decided to try their hand at reality television by starring on the E! series "ASHLEE + EVAN." The show only lasted six episodes. However, Simpson revealed that the couple had a ton of fun filming. "We had so much fun doing it, but we're both working on our own projects and we're literally there with each other every day. [We] didn't want to have our kids on TV for too long," she said, per Us Weekly.
In 2020, the couple added to their plate when they revealed they were expecting their second child together. "The fam is growing. Ash and I can't wait to welcome the newest addition," Ross said via Instagram. A few months later the pair excitedly announced the arrival of their son, Ziggy Blu Ross. "Our sweet boy has arrived. I'm over the MOON. We are so blessed," Simpson gushed on social media (via People). For now, it seems that Ross and Simpson have their hands full juggling their children and their careers. However, they appear to be happy and loving every moment of it.
