New Details Revealed About Katie Thurston's Bachelorette Season
In a new promo of Katie Thurston's upcoming season of "The Bachelorette" posted to Instagram, we are learning so much more about what to expect from her journey to find love.
First, we see she's a lady in red, meeting her suitors as they get out of the limo with giggles and smiles, and a sparkly, rose-hued gown (via People). Flash forward to a second later in the cilp, and she is making out with a lot of people. Like, a lot.
In the promo, fans will see Thurston enjoy fireworks, and endure a rain storm. We even witness Blake Moynes — remember him from Clare Crawley's season, and Tayshia Adams' season? — coming back to attempt to pull off a "Say Anything" moment for Thurston, boombox and all.
And that is not it! The spot reveals fighting among the guys in the house, tears from Thurston and the men, and even an ambulance.
Katie Thurston appears to want to quit The Bachelorette
At the end of the titillating new Instagram promo, fans will see "The Bachelorette" shockingly say "I'm done." As she is walking away from the camera, Thurston then shakily requests, "Someone book my flight home." Fade to black. Whoa.
Why is the 30-year-old, whom we first met on Matt James' season of "The Bachelor," fed up enough to bolt from her season? We'll find out the answer to this burning question and so many more when "The Bachelorette" premieres on Monday, June 7.
Meanwhile, as E! Online notes, Chris Harrison does not host Thurston's season following the scandal that saw him defend Rachael Kirkconnell's racially insensitive social media posts. We briefly see his replacements, Adams and Kaitlyn Bristowe, saying together, "Let the journey begin!" We don't yet know exactly how the two former leads will divide up their hosting duties, but we can't wait to find out!
