This Royal Has A Surprising Prediction About Meghan And Harry's Marriage

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's relationship progressed much more quickly than that of Prince William's courtship of his wife, Kate Middleton. Harry and Meghan met in July 2016 when they were set up on a blind date, per Insider. The couple shared an instant connection, according to Harry. "The second date I was starting to think: This is pretty special," the Duke of Sussex told James Corden back in February.

By early 2017, Meghan had met many members of the royal family, and talks of an engagement began to circulate in the media. In November 2017, Harry popped the question to Meghan while they cooked dinner at their home. "[We were] trying to roast a chicken and it just — just an amazing surprise, it was so sweet and natural and very romantic. He got on one knee," Meghan told BBC of the proposal. The couple immediately began planning their royal wedding, and in front of an international televised audience, they officially tied the knot in May 2018.

Meanwhile, the couple's whirlwind relationship may not have left much time for Harry to introduce Meghan to royal life. Royal expert Robert Jobson recently told Page Six that the current tension between Harry, Meghan, and the royals may be due to Harry's lack of communication with Meghan. "It's a combination of Harry and Meghan's fault, mainly Harry for not explaining it to her properly," Jobson said. Now, another royal insider is giving their opinion on Harry and Meghan's relationship, and it's not positive.

Royal insider smells disaster for Harry and Meghan

Lady Victoria Hervey, daughter of Victor, the sixth Marquess of Bristol (via Hello! Magazine) and friend to Prince Andrew recently weighed in with her predictions for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's relationship. The socialite revealed that she believes The Duke and Duchess of Sussex moved much too quickly in their relationship, which may lead them to divorce. "I think Harry and Meghan's courtship was way too short. I just don't see it lasting. I remember just before their wedding, I thought, 'They'll get married, have a few kids... And she will end up wanting to be in America,'" Lady Victoria stated (via The Sun). "They were always traveling somewhere. They moved too fast," she added.

Lady Victoria also shared her opinion about Harry and Meghan's shocking tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey. During the sit-down, the couple dished about living within the confines of the royal family and painted some of England's highest royalty in a negative light. Lady Victoria says that she found the interview to be "distasteful" and poorly timed due to Prince Philip's health issues. "The way it was done, with Prince Philip in the hospital, literally about to die. I thought it was pretty unreal," she said. Lady Victoria says that she believes that Harry has been cast as the "black sheep" of the royal family. However, she thinks that Harry would likely be happily welcomed back into the family if he chose to come home to the U.K.

Meghan's sister Samantha also predicts divorce

Lady Victoria is not alone in her prediction that Harry and Meghan are destined for splitsville. Meghan's own estranged half-sister, Samantha Markle, has made similar assertions to the press (via TMZ). While Samantha has no relationship with Meghan, Harry, or the Royal family, it hasn't stopped her from weighing in very publicly on Meghan's life. During the royal couple's now-infamous interview with Oprah earlier this spring, Meghan said that she had not any form of a relationship with Samantha for roughly two decades, and so any opinion or "inside knowledge" she claims to share is not founded in fact. Even so, Samantha has published a book titled "The Diary of Princess Pushy's Sister."

Samantha had previously slammed Meghan for abandoning her own family and father and even claimed Meghan suffers from Narcissistic Personality Disorder. With all of this hostility she clearly harbors for her sister, there is very little surprise that Samantha also had some less-than-positive things to say about Meghan's marriage.

According to OK Magazine, Samantha said the marriage will end "in divorce unless they get extensive counseling and can agree to work on being honest and work on apologies to everyone they've damaged in the course of this." We imagine that Samantha isn't only referring to the couple's relationship with the royal family and the resulting public relations debacle, but also Meghan's decision to walk away from her father, with whom she has had no contact for a span of years.
