The Truth About Whitney Port's Husband, Producer Tim Rosenman
While many reality television enthusiasts will likely agree that the drama between Heidi Montag and Lauren Conrad on "The Hills" was juicy, fellow cast member Whitney Port — who Conrad met while they were both interning at Teen Vogue — was actually one of the highlights of the entire series. From her wise advice and witty one-liners to her inspiring work ethic and incredible sense of fashion, Port quietly stole the show during the first few seasons of the hit series before she moved to New York and starred in MTV's "The City," which ultimately launched her career as a fashion designer.
Almost a decade later, Port returned to the network that catapulted her into reality television royalty, starring in "The Hills: New Beginnings" alongside Audrina Patridge, Frankie Delgado, Brody Jenner, Montag, and Spencer Pratt (the latter two have a surprising net worth). Fans of "The Hills" reboot also got to see a glimpse of Port's husband, Tim Rosenman, during the first season of "New Beginnings" (via IMDb), and given the fact that the Season 2 premiere is coming up on May 12, 2021 (via People), viewers will likely see more of Port's husband on their television screens in the coming months.
Whitney Port met her husband, Tim Rosenman, while filming The City
Tim Rosenman was credited as a field producer on the set of "The City" (via IMDb) and although they spent a lot of time working together while filming, Port insists that she didn't make a move until after the show wrapped. "I definitely made the first move," she told the Daily Mail in 2015. "And I know, because of our jobs — because I was the talent and he was the producer — he wasn't going to cross that line. It had to be me, you know. We got really close while we were on the show but didn't start dating until after."
Rosenman also served as a producer on "The X Factor" after working on "The City," and if you follow Port on Instagram and YouTube, you'll know that she and Rosenman film "The Hills" and "The City" reaction videos, and he also appears on her podcast, "With Whit."
Port and Rosenman, who got married in 2015 in Palm Springs, California (via Us Weekly), also share a son named Sonny together. But their path to parenthood has not been easy – Port opened up in early 2021 about her past miscarriage and how it made her and Rosenman's relationship stronger than ever. "If anything, it brought us closer together," she shared (via People). "How he cared for me and how there he was, emotionally, for me was really amazing. We got through that and I think we're stronger, fortunately, than before."
