Did Prince William Get Kate Middleton This Gift For Their Anniversary?

Prince William and Kate Middleton are celebrating their 10-year wedding anniversary this week. The couple marked the occasion with some never-before-seen photos of them looking happy while snuggled up together, (via CNN).

They also released a sweet video of themselves at home with their three adorable children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis in honor of the milestone anniversary. "Thank you to everyone for the kind messages on our wedding anniversary," the pair captioned the video, per Today. "We are enormously grateful for the 10 years of support we have received in our lives as a family. W & C."

Despite reports of a rift within the royal family, William's younger brother Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle reportedly sent a private congratulations to the couple, (via Page Six). Even Queen Elizabeth took to social media to share her thoughts about the couple's big day. "Wishing The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge a very happy wedding anniversary," the post read (via People). "Today marks ten years since Their Royal Highnesses exchanged vows at Westminster Abbey."

As fans may recall, the couple tied the knot in 2011 in front of nearly 2,000 guests as the rest of the world watched on television. The world continues to watch William and Kate, and many believe they may have even spotted Kate's big anniversary present in the couple's stunning new photos.

Did Prince William buy Kate Middleton an expensive anniversary gift?

Marie Claire reports that fans couldn't help but notice the stunning piece of jewelry that Kate Middleton was wearing in her sweet anniversary photos with Prince William. Of course, people immediately began to speculate that the necklace may have been a lavish gift from her husband to honor and celebrate her after a decade of marriage.

According to The Sun, the piece around Kate's neck in the pics in the Asprey Daisy Heritage Pendant, which retail for $12,350. Page Six reports that Kate also owns the matching earrings which are valued at $26,000. The outlet also notes that the shape of the pendant goes nicely with Kate's blue sapphire engagement ring which features a similar floral style and formerly belonged to William's mother Princess Diana.

The necklace is described as an "individually set marquise cut stones as the flower's petals. Each is held in place with two perfectly formed V-shaped claws, designed to allow maximum light to pass through the stone. The centre of the flower, meanwhile, is set with a half ball of pavé diamonds, replicating the texture of the daisy's center," on the Asprey website. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge haven't confirmed whether or not the necklace was an anniversary gift. However, they do look happier than ever to be celebrating their special day together and with their children.
