Who Is Married At First Sight: Unmatchables Contestant Brandon?
The Lifetime original series Married at First Sight first made its mark in the reality dating show genre in 2014 (via IMBb). This "social experiment" series is popular with viewers because of its highly unconventional method of pairing singles. Two strangers agree to marry one another without ever meeting until the day of their wedding ceremony. The newlywed couples then live together for eight weeks before deciding if they want to stay together or get divorced.
To find your match on Married at First Sight, hopefuls have to go through a meticulous application process, which includes Skype interviews, an extensive questionnaire, psychological evaluations, and even a background check (via E! News). According to Deadline, around 65,000 people have applied for the show, only to be rejected — or so some of them thought. Lifetime is launching a spinoff series called Married at First Sight: Unmatchables that will choose people from the pool of rejected applicants.
Brandon feels he leads a double life
According to Ebony, Married at First Sight: Unmatchables will help 16 individuals understand why they haven't been able to find love and begin the process of fixing those issues so that they are better prepared to find their perfect match. The "Unmatchables" will undergo this healing journey with MAFS relationship experts Pastor Calvin Roberson and Dr. Viviana Coles. Ebony also revealed who will take part in the series and shared a bit about them.
Contestant Brandon is a 34-year-old club promoter. He claims to lead a double life, though it appears his alter-ego, Legend, has been calling most of the shots lately. Legend spends most of his time partying and out at clubs. This leaves him with very little time to pursue romantic relationships. Hopefully, Dr. Coles and Pastor Robertson can get Legend to retire and put Brandon back in the driver's seat. Maybe then, he can finally find the love he's been missing.
