Alicia Keys' Net Worth: The Singer Is Worth Way More Than You Think

Since first exploding onto the music scene in the 2000s, Alicia Keys has certainly made a name for herself as a talented singer-songwriter and R&B vocalist. Not only has she earned massive success with iconic hit songs like "Girl On Fire" and "If I Ain't Got You," the star has also snagged a total of 15 Grammy Awards over the last two decades.

It all started, of course, with Keys' first debut album Songs in A Minor, which released in 2001 to widespread critical acclaim and a No.1 on the Billboard 200 chart. Since then, the R&B singer has released six more studio albums — including her most recent 2020 album, Alicia — and has sold over 65 million records and 30 million albums worldwide (as of September 2019), according to the Universal Music Group.

So given her massive success over the years, exactly how much is the multi-talented singer-songwriter and producer worth?

Alicia's talents go way beyond her successful music career

As reported by Celebrity Net Worth, Keys has a whopping net worth of $150 million, which she shares with her husband Swizz Beatz, a rapper and producer. You may know her best as a successful R&B singer and musician, but it turns out that Alicia Keys also has plenty of other credits to her name, including producer, actress, author, and activist.

She's also acted in several films and television shows, making her first film debut on the 2007 crime movie Smokin' Aces, followed by The Nanny Diaries in 2007 and The Secret Life of Bees in 2008 (via IMDB). Keys has also appeared as a coach on The Voice, among other appearances on several reality music competition shows.

But Keys' talents seem to stretch even beyond music and film — per The New York Times, she's also written two books as a best-selling author! In 2004, the star released a book called Tears for Water: Songbook of Poems and Lyrics, a collection of poems and lyrics from her journals. More recently, in March 2020, she also released a memoir called More Myself: A Journey, which appeared on The New York Times' bestseller list.
