The actor took to Instagram to post a beautiful black and white throwback photo featuring a smiling Jett with a proud Travolta looking on. He captioned the post, "Happy birthday my beautiful Jetty. I love you."

Sadly, Jett, then 16, experienced a seizure during a 2009 family trip to the Bahamas, and following that, hit his head on the bathtub. As reported by Us Weekly, his late mother, Kelley Preston addressed her son's accident during an appearance on The Doctors in 2012 explaining, "He was autistic, he had seizures, and when he was very young, he had Kawasaki syndrome."

Travolta's daughter, Ella, posted a tribute to Jett as well, sharing a photo of her and her brother together as young children. "I love you Jetty. Happy Birthday," she wrote.
