Eric Church's Net Worth Might Surprise You
Country singer and songwriter Eric Church is ready to get back out on the road.
The "How 'Bout You" singer just announced an arena tour for the fall 2021 (via Billboard). The tour aptly named The Gather Again Tour is Church's return to the stage as the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic caused many artists to cancel tours and live performances for over a year. Like his fellow musicians, Church has been eagerly waiting to get back in front of an audience. He even said, "All I've ever done is play live shows. That's my whole gig."
And it's true! The country singer has been nonstop touring since his debut album Sinners Like Me back in 2006. And according to Yahoo!, the bulk of Church's income comes from ticket sales. The singer even reportedly earned $26 million at the end of 2017 and $30 million in 2019 (via Forbes). So how much is he worth today? Well that answer may surprise you.
Eric Church will be performing at the Academy of Country Music Awards
As one of the highest-paid performers, Church has a solid net worth of $14 million (via Celebrity Net Worth). While fans may have to wait until autumn to see Eric Church in person on his 55-city North American tour, they won't have to wait too long to see him perform.
The singer will be performing at the 2021 Academy of Country Music Awards on April 18, 2021 along with other country artists, including Maren Morris and Mickey Guyton (via Rolling Stone).
Along with performing at the show, Church is also nominated for three awards, including Entertainer of the Year, Male Artist of the Year, and Music Event of the Year for Luke Combs' "Does to Me" (via Tennessean). Last year, Church won the award for Entertainer of the Year against some country greats like Miranda Lambert, Keith Urban, Luke Combs and Carrie Underwood (via Taste of Country). He also performed at the 2020 award show and gave a moving performance of Johnny Cash's "Ragged Old Flag" with his hit song "Stick That In Your Country Song" (via Music Mayhem Magazine). Fans will have to tune into the 2021 award show on CBS to see what songs he'll performs this year.
