Here's Where You Can Watch Every Episode Of The Circle
The Circle (or The Circle US, to distinguish the American version from the UK series which began in 2018) is a reality show that began airing on Jan. 1, 2020, with host Michelle Buteau, an actress and comedian. A lot of viewers find the reality series similar to Big Brother and Catfish, but probably closer to the latter as most of the contestants on The Circle are unaware of each other. They don't meet until they are off the game — or until the final round. The only communication they have is through a voice-generated app (via The Sun). The goal is to be popular, and players can either be real or make fake profiles to fool the other players. The grand prize is $100,000. Yes, you read that right. With so much money at stake, the contestants need to ramp up their game since they can be whoever they want to be.
Social media is the center of the game. Whoever has the most likes wins the money. During the first season of The Circle, Joey Sasso, a 25-year-old bartender from New York, was the victor. "It's been absolutely amazing. This entire experience has just exceeded all of my wildest expectations, in terms of the audience embracing the show, things that have happened," Sasso told Screen Rant. "For all of us, cast members and for the show, people have been so kind all around the world, reaching out, just sending well wishes and sharing their stories with us."
