Is This Why 90 Day Fiance's Colt And Larissa Broke Up?

Colt and Larissa endured one of the most difficult relationships in 90 Day Fiancé history, which is no small feat considering the expansive franchise's bread and butter is dysfunctional, seemingly doomed relationships. The two initially connected on social media before meeting up in Mexico, where he memorably proposed after just five days. The show detailed how he struggled to split time between Larissa and his overbearing mother, who disapproved of Larissa's alleged money-grabbing.

As People noted, the couple tied the knot in June 2018 and finalized their divorce in April 2019. Colt filed months prior amid shocking rumors circulating about bad behavior from both parties, although their attorneys claimed the relationship was ultimately settled "amicably." The 90 Day Fiancé stars celebrated their split with separate divorce parties in Las Vegas, both of which were, funnily enough, held at the same gentlemen's club. It was a fitting end to their tumultuous relationship.

Several explosive arguments drove them apart

Shortly after the two got married, Larissa was arrested for domestic battery after documenting a violent argument on her Instagram Story (via In Touch Weekly). Although Colt opted not to press charges, the incident was the beginning of the end for the tempestuous couple. According to E! Newsit was actually her second arrest of that nature, and, not too long after, Larissa found herself in similar trouble once again. As Us Weekly reported in January 2019, the 90 Day Fiancé star was charged with misdemeanor domestic violence after Colt lodged a complaint claiming she left him bloodied. The violent altercation, from which both parties claimed injuries, allegedly started after Larissa accused Colt of buying an adult film.

Previously in December 2018, Larissa accused Colt of cheating, sharing messages between her then-husband and another woman to social media (via E! News). Colt filed for divorce shortly after the incident, per People. The reality stars wished each other the best, and Larissa very publicly moved on. But her new boyfriend Eric opined that Colt still loves her (via Screen Rant), suggesting this complicated story isn't over yet.
