Samantha Markle Shares What She Really Thinks Of Prince Harry's Newest Job Title
Samantha Markle hasn't exactly been shy when it comes to sharing her opinions about her younger half-sister, Meghan Markle. From publicly criticizing Meghan's maternity wardrobe in 2019 (via Life & Style Magazine) to slamming her decision to step back from royal duties in 2020 (via InTouch Weekly), it's clear there's no love lost between this pair.
During Meghan's tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey, she said that she barely knows Samantha and hasn't seen her in nearly two decades. It's no surprise that Samantha is now sharing her thoughts about both the Oprah interview and Prince Harry's new job as chief impact officer of online mental health coaching service BetterUp Inc. (via Page Six). As part of his new role, Harry will help combat misinformation.
Samantha, who has previously stated that both Meghan and Harry lied during their interview with Oprah, is now taking aim at Harry and his new job, saying that he's not qualified to fight misinformation.
Meghan's half-brother says Samantha has always been jealous of their sister
"Harry is in no position to work for a company that deals in misinformation or mental health issues until he himself is made whole and until [he and Meghan] get a grip on what the truth is," Samantha said, per Page Six, adding that Harry has "been a party" to disinformation.
In a new episode of E! True Hollywood Story, Thomas Markle Jr. addressed the bad blood between his sisters, as reported by Express. "Samantha has a very bitter personality," he shared. "I think she was very jealous of Meghan in the very beginning and still to this day."
Samantha's apparent disdain for her sister hasn't stopped her from profiting off Meghan's fame. Last month she published a book titled The Diary of Princess Pushy's Sister Part 1 (via US Weekly). Meghan remains estranged from most of her family members aside from her mother, Doria Ragland, who she has referred to as her "best friend."
