Brandi Glanville Shares Her Scary At-Home Skincare Mishap

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Brandi Glanville is opening up about a scary at-home skincare routine that went wrong. The mom of two took to Twitter to share a graphic photo of her face, along with the caption, "So this happened to me in December 2nd degree burns all over my face from an accident with a psoriasis light I am still healing & really didn't want to share these photos but since ⁦@DailyMail⁩ is attacking my looks her is the 411."

Indeed, the Daily Mail posted a story this week entitled, "Brandi Glanville, 48, looks unrecognisable during TV interview just months after denying plastic surgery rumours." The piece noted her appearance was visibly altered on an Australian morning show. And People reported other outlets picked on Glanville for her looks after an Instagram Live session this week. As Page Six notes, many fans took to the star's social media to chastise her for getting plastic surgery.

Glanville later responded on Twitter to a fan who asked how she was doing after the stories came out and her answer is enough to make anyone feel badly for what she went through, and is still dealing with.

Glanville updated her fans on how she was doing in light of being dragged for how she looked on TV and Instagram. "I'm OK but you know it happened in December I'm still swollen and having people attack my looks just makes me feel like I never wanna leave my house and I just want to cry," the star said.

She also revealed more details about the scary experience with the at-home treatment, noting, "My retinas were burned my eyelashes burned off I couldn't open my eyes [for] three days the light was so painful."

About how the incident took place, Glanville also admitted, "It was an accident obviously my doctor told me to hold the light over my face for 17.3 what I thought were minutes but it was seconds." She added, "Completely my fault. It was suppose to help the psoriasis that was overtaking my face from stress

It's worth noting in the past, Glanville has admitted to doing Botox and a few minor plastic surgery procedures.
