These Are The Music Videos Jennifer Aniston Appeared In
Jennifer Aniston is one of the most beautiful women in Hollywood. Her stunning good looks and charismatic personality have made her a household name. Of course, Aniston is known for her role as Rachel Green on the beloved NBC comedy series Friends. However, she is so much more than her iconic character.
In the years since she ended her run on Friends, the actress has pushed the limits and broken away from the character of Rachel with roles in films such as Horrible Bosses, where she played a sex-crazed dentist. She also portrayed a stripper in We're The Millers. In the movie The Good Girl, Aniston tackled the role of an unhappy grocery store clerk who cheats on her husband with her younger co-worker, played by Jake Gyllenhaal (per Insider). With all of that talent, it only makes sense that she would be wanted for other projects, too, such as modeling and endorsements. She's even been in some music videos.
She appeared as Rachel Green with the Friends cast
Jennifer Aniston appeared in three music videos within six years. Her first cameo came as the character Rachel Green in the official music video for The Rembrandts 1995 single "I'll Be There For You." The song served as the theme for Friends and has solidified its place in pop-culture history because of it. In the video, Aniston sports her signature Rachel hairstyle and goofs around on stage while the band plays the song. She's seen playing the tambourine and hilariously checking her hair. She even steals the sunglasses off of one of the band members as she showed off her dance moves. At one point she opted to pick up a guitar and play the song herself.
According to BuzzFeed, the video also featured Aniston's Friends co-stars, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc, and Matthew Perry. They're all dressed as their on-screen alter egos, and appear to be completely in character. Since "I'll Be There For You" will forever be linked to the television show, the music video is a perfect representation of the song, as well as the mid-90s aesthetic.
Aniston worked with iconic singers
One year after rocking it as Rachel Green in the "I'll Be There For You" video, Jennifer Aniston appeared in the music video for Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers' song "Walls." The video is set at a circus, in which the actress is seen sporting long hair that she had braided into pigtails over her shoulders while she looked longingly into the camera. The song was the first tune on the soundtrack for the film She's the One (via Rolling Stone), which also starred Aniston.
Her final music video appearance came in 2001 when she starred in Melissa Etheridge's "I Want To Be In Love" video. Aniston was the epitome of the early 2000s style with her shoulder-length hair and dark eyeliner. She wore a sparkly silver tank-top as she portrayed a woman navigating the bar scene alongside other good-looking young people. During that time the video was shot, Etheridge was a close friend of Aniston's then-husband, Brad Pitt. According to People, the singer even performed at the couple's wedding. "I Want To Be In Love" marked Aniston's last cameo in a music video to date. However, fans are always hopeful that she'll test the waters again in the future.
