What You Didn't Know About Naomi Scott's Husband, Jordan Spence

Naomi Scott had a breakout year in 2019 when she played "Jasmine" to Mena Massoud's "Aladdin" in Disney's live-action remake of the animated classic. That same year, Scott also starred in another reboot  Charlie's Angels, alongside Kristen Stewart and Ella Balinska. Off-screen, the London-born actor would say she has also enjoyed personal success, as she's been in a committed relationship with Jordan Spence for over a decade. So, who is he?

According to his player profile at the German football website Transfermarkt, Spence is quite successful in his own right and has played soccer in Europe for a number of different clubs, including West Ham United, Leyton Orient, Bristol City, Ipswich Town, and, most recently, Dutch FC ADO Den Haag. The outlet also reported Spence's current market value at $440,000 while stating that his highest market value was $550,000 in 2011.

A separate report from Milton Keynes Citizen said that Spence, who married Naomi Scott in June 2014 after four years of dating, typically acts as a right-back but can also operate as a center back.

In May 2019, Bustle revealed that Naomi Scott and Jordan Spence met one another at Scott's parents' church, the Bridge Church, in Redbridge, United Kingdom. As Elle revealed at the same time, Scott's mother and father are both pastors at the church, which describes itself as "a community of ordinary people who have found peace, joy and purpose in an extraordinary God."

During a cover-story interview with British Vogue in March of 2019, Scott said that her faith, and the faith of her husband, is the foundation for all of the decisions they make. She then said that she and Spence hope to one day become a power couple of their generation. "[My husband Jordan Spence and I are] are young people with big aspirations I want to be a power couple, I want to make all the money and have a big house."
