Whatever Happened To Stephanie Sersen And AJ Vollmoeller From Married At First Sight?

For reality television fans, Married at First Sight is truly the gift that keeps on giving. Viewers of the hit Lifetime show, which is currently in its twelfth season, have watched complete strangers say "I do" to one another since the series premiered in 2014, and while many couples have called it quits on Decision Day, some couples' relationships are stronger than ever before.

MAFS fans first met Stephanie Sersen and AJ Vollmoeller on Season 8 of the reality show, along with three other couples: Jasmine McGriff and Will Guess, Kate Sisk and Luke Cuccurullo, and Kristine Killingsworth and Keith Dewar.

Some of the couples got off to a rocky start — which is sometimes expected when you marry a complete stranger on national television — however, one look through Stephanie and AJ's social media pages will show you that over two years after they exchanged their vows, they're still going strong!

Stephanie Sersen and AJ Vollmoeller recently relocated to Key West, Florida

Sersen has been chronicling her and Vollmoeller's move on her Instagram page, and has also been sharing what the couple's been up to since the big move from Philadelphia. She even detailed their recent Valentine's Day outing, which sounds like a food lover's dream!

"Here's one of our favorite restaurants we found in key west [sic] so far. It's not on Duvall so there's hardly ever a wait for a table," she wrote on Feb. 19. "AJ loves the peanut butter banana chocolate martini and I love the lobster Mac n cheese gnocchi and the spicy jalapeño martini. We came for Valentine's Day.. and again for drinks! I love hidden gems."

The couple is no stranger to exploring different parts of the country — and world — together, as they revealed during an interview with The Sarah Scoop Show.

"I have always loved traveling, but I have not traveled nearly as much as I do now with Steph," AJ said.

The couple is currently featured on a 'MAFS' spin-off series

Stephanie Sersen and AJ Vollmoeller appeared on Season 1 of MAFS: Couples Cam, and are currently starring in the second season, which premiered on Lifetime on Feb. 4. The show follows couples from previous seasons who are still together as they navigate a worldwide pandemic as (relatively) newly married couples.

In a Q&A with Lifetime during the first season, Vollmoeller opened up about married life during quarantine and how he and Sersen kept the romance going during the pandemic. "You gotta get innovative. You have to think outside the box. There's not a lot to work with. For us, we don't even have a backyard. We're trapped inside four walls," he said at the time.

Sersen echoed that sentiment, adding that it's difficult to be romantic in a small, confined space without a dedicated outdoor area or anywhere to go. "We've been making sure we do nice things for each other around the house," Sersen said. "Like, he's always cooking and cleaning and helping around the house. And then sometimes we'll do a little romantic dinner on the balcony."
