Why Christina Haack Was Just Spotted In A Wedding Dress
The past few months have been turbulent for HGTV star Christina Haack, who formerly went by both Christina El Moussa, while married to Flip or Flop co-star Tarek El Moussa, and Christina Anstead, during her marriage to Ant Anstead. Back in September, the home renovation expert shocked fans after announcing her divorce from Anstead after just under two years of marriage. Here's where it gets messy. Haack still works with her ex El Moussa, who she was married to for 7 years, and he is currently engaged to Selling Sunset star, Heather Rae Young.
Earlier this year, Haack seemed to be making a major statement about how much change she'd gone through by sharing with Instagram fans and followers that she was reclaiming her maiden name, and altering her username accordingly. The Christina on the Coast star dedicated the move to her grandmother, Mildred "Biddy" Haack, whom she praised for always being "real in a world of so many fakes."
What's got fans really confused, however, is that Haack has since been spotted in a wedding dress, sparking some fans to wonder — is she going back on her word?
Christina Haack was simply playing dress up with a friend
Don't panic, Haack hasn't freaked out about her newfound singledom and rushed down the aisle on a whim or something. As People notes, the HGTV host was simply dress shopping with a friend who's about to get married herself. Haack took to Instagram Stories to share some fun videos with BFF and publicist Cassie Zebisch, taken in a stunning bridal store. According to Zebisch's Stories, her big day is coming up very soon so it's all hands on deck. Haack even accompanied her on several other errands also, alongside her soon-to-be husband.
Zebisch was shown jokingly asking her friends whether she was acting like a "bridezilla" and although they all reassured her she wasn't, Haack cheekily held up her fingers to suggest she was a little. Although there was footage of the Flip or Flop star wearing a pretty, intricately beaded wedding gown, it was all part of the fun. Haack even captioned the video, "Playing dress up with my fav @waltercollection." The busy working mother is evidently focusing on herself for now, and recently shared a post describing her daughter as "my lil valentine."
