Inside Tracy Wolfson's Relationship With Her Husband
When it comes to the world of sports journalism, Tracy Wolfson is one of the most respected names in the business. Wolfson has worked as a sports reporter and sportscaster for CBS Sports for 18 years. That Wolfson has worked this long in a field that is overwhelmingly dominated by men is an incredible feat, and it's one that she's worked hard for ever since she was a young child. She told the Jewish Standard that she chose to study communications at the University of Michigan with this goal in mind.
"I not only wanted a great education, but I also wanted to be around big time sports. I wanted to watch it and to talk it."
She also told the publication that while she loved playing sports, she knew that her real interest and passion was in analyzing and discussing them. "I played flag football for my sorority in college, I played basketball, and tennis was my main sport, but I didn't want to pursue it."
Achieving the kind of career success that Wolfson has enjoyed while also balancing a fulfilling home life definitely requires a supportive partner — and it definitely seems like she has one in her husband, David Reichel.
Who is Tracy Wolfson's husband, David Reichel?
Tracy Wolfson and David Reichel met at the University of Michigan, but they didn't begin a relationship until after they both graduated. Live Ramp Up reports that the two got married in 2003, and they share three songs: Dylan, Ari, and Evan.
Wolfson has said that her family is everything. "My family is my real life, and being a mom is my number one priority. I have an amazing job, and I worked really hard to get where I am, and I love it, but I always say that when it doesn't work out for my family, that's when I'm out. I couldn't do it without my husband's support — I travel so much — and without the friends I made in town, and my children's friends' parents. I'm so lucky with the relationships I have" (via the Jewish Standard).
In 2019, she penned a sweet post on Instagram that celebrated her husband on their wedding anniversary. "Every year on this day I take an extra moment to remind myself how lucky I am to have such a supportive, loving husband, an incredible, hands on father and the best friend I could ask for. I will love you forever David."
