Inside The Little Couple's $2M Canal-Front Home
The Little Couple sure has a big home! Dr. Jen Arnold and Bill Klein purchased the 5,441-square-foot home in St. Petersburg, Fla. in 2017, as noted by Realtor. The sprawling, three-story abode sits directly on a canal, surrounded by lush, elegantly-landscaped greenery. The first story is mostly garage space for up to four vehicles, with ample living space on the second and third stories. All told, the house cost Bill and Jen a cool $2.1 million, but from the looks of it, it was well worth the money (and they can certainly afford it!).
While one side of the Little Couple stars' gorgeous home faces a canal that feeds into Tampa Bay, the other side looks out onto a golf course, ensuring that the views from the windows will always be bright green. Additionally, the sea wall that was added on the canal side protects the dwelling should a storm surge become an issue during or after a hurricane. That's a pretty smart addition!
So what does the beige house with plenty of windows and a Spanish-style roof look like on the inside? Read on, because we're taking you inside the Little Couple's $2 million canal-front home.
The Little Couple's $2M canal-front home is in the Snell Isle neighborhood of St. Pete
First, before we step inside the home, let's get to know the neighborhood just a bit. When Dr. Jen Arnold was offered a sweet job at Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital in St. Petersburg, Fla., the Little Couple stars decided to relocate from Houston, Texas. "It was really sort of a match made in heaven," Jen told the Tampa Bay Times. "I still have family here and my husband has family on the east coast of Florida as well."
After that, Jen and her husband, Bill Klein, purchased their gorgeous home and were all moved in by the end of 2017. The house is located in the desirable Snell Isle neighborhood, an affluent community where 80 percent of the homes boast waterfront views. It's also not far from Downtown St. Petersburg, which has all kinds of shops, restaurants, and things to do. Top it off with area schools that are above average (via Niche), and you have the perfect place for a family to thrive. Oh, and don't forget the nearby beaches!
The Little Couple's St. Petersburg home has a huge swimming pool
One of the most popular places to hang out in the Little Couple's $2 million canal-front home is definitely the huge swimming pool (and spa). According to Realtor, the heated, outdoor pool is also saltwater, which means you don't have to worry about getting over-chlorinated if you spend a lot of time in there. Additionally, surrounding the pool is an elegant tile terrace, replete with comfy pool furniture, with canal views beyond the lush palm trees.
If you follow Dr. Jen Arnold on Instagram, you probably already know that she and her family hang out in the pool often. It's certainly a hit with Will and Zoey! "I'm pretty sure the kids' favorite part of our new house in #Florida is the pool," Jen wrote in a post.
Indeed, that unbridled enthusiasm was on full display in an episode of The Little Couple. In the clip, you can see just how thrilled Will and Zoey were to jump into their gorgeous pool for the first time, just after they moved to Florida. Of course, their proud parents were right by their side, happy to see their children so delighted.
Check out the amazing kitchen in the Little Couple's fabulous home
If you're a fan of The Little Couple, you probably know that the kitchen you see in the Zillow listing for their home is different than the kitchen you see on Dr. Jen Arnold's Instagram page. Of course, there's a reason for that, according to Bill Klein. "No home is going to be move in ready for us where we don't need to remodel some of it to make it comfortable for me and Jen to make dinners," he said in an episode of The Little Couple (via People). "So why pay for a brand-new kitchen when that's all got to go?" He has a point!
The cameras were rolling when Bill and his wife had their home renovated to suit their short stature. As for the remodeled kitchen, it looks both high-end and gorgeous, with elegant countertops, sophisticated white cabinets, classy glass backsplash, and an island for gathering. And it's just the right size for Will and Zoey to cook dinner in (with their nanny supervising, of course).
The Little Couple's $2M mansion features an open-concept living room
Of course, no home would be complete without a living room, and that includes the Little Couple stars' home. Adjacent to the kitchen in an open-concept floor plan (via Realtor), the living room is the heart of Dr. Jen Arnold and Bill Klein's large abode. It has high ceilings with several ceiling fans installed to ensure that you can get a breeze moving to keep the air fresh. Additionally, the living room also boasts floor-to-ceiling windows, perfect for letting in the famous Florida sunshine.
The Little Couple and their children love spending time in the living room, which you can see on Jen's Instagram page. There are lots of comfy places to sit, relax, or even nap if the tireds hit you. It's also where the family sets up their Christmas tree during the holiday season, which has to be one of Will and Zoey's favorite times of the year. It certainly looks like they make out like bandits every Christmas!
The Little Couple enjoys holiday meals in their formal dining room
While the kitchen and living room certainly appear to be where the action takes place in Jen Arnold and Bill Klein's home, there's another place that the pair and their two children can enjoy a fine meal. That would be the formal dining area, which can easily accommodate not only Jen, Bill, and their children, but also Will and Zoey's grandparents. The space is made especially elegant by a chandelier dripping with crystals, which would make anyone dining under it feel fancy (via Zillow).
Once you exit the dining area, you can't help but notice the absolutely gorgeous stairway, which spirals out onto the main floor of the house. It has elegant iron work on either side, complete with polished wooden banisters, which is perhaps why it's served as the background for photos of Will and Zoey. Talk about an elegant way to make an entrance! We'll expect the prom snaps to be taken there when the kids are in high school.
Yes, there's an elevator in the Little Couple's $2M canal-front home
If you don't feel like taking the stairs in the Little Couple stars' Mediterranean masterpiece, you're in luck, as there's another option for going up and down in their gorgeous house. That's right: There's an elevator in Dr. Jen Arnold and Bill Klein's three-story home, so if you can't climb stairs for one reason or another, you can ascend or descend in style (via Redfin).
While the elevator isn't exactly front and center on Jen's Instagram page — it's a big house, after all, and there are plenty of other places to take photos — it might come in handy at times for the family. According to the Tampa Bay Times, both Jen and Bill have undergone multiple surgeries, so if they're ever feeling achy, having an elevator must be a relief. Additionally, if the family ever has friends over who are in wheelchairs, this is a much more accessible option for them.
The Little Couple's St. Petersburg home features six bedrooms
One of the nicest things about the Little Couple stars' beautiful home is that it has not one, not two, but six bedrooms, as noted by Redfin. It definitely makes you wonder if Dr. Jen Arnold and her husband, Bill Klein, plan to adopt more children in the future, as that's a lot of space for a family of just four!
Still, even though Will and Zoey are the only children in the house (for now), they both have equally amazing bedrooms that any kid would dream of. Fans of The Little Couple got a tour of both of them in an episode, in which the children showed their new bedrooms to their grandparents. Zoey's room is furnished in soft pinks and boasts an incredibly gorgeous chandelier. There's also plenty of space for her doll collection. As for Will's room, it has dark blue walls and accents courtesy of Will himself: Legos, airplanes, and lots of Star Wars swag. "It's a boy's dream come true," Bill remarked. It really is!
The master suite in the Little Couple's home includes a kitchenette
One of the most important rooms in any house is, of course, the master bedroom. Insofar as the Little Couple's $2 million Mediterranean mansion goes, the master suite doesn't disappoint, to say the least. According to Zillow, Dr. Jen Arnold and her husband, Bill Klein, lay their heads down in a large suite with their very own private balcony and bathroom. Additionally, the floor is made from dark hardwood, which is polished so it shines beautifully when the light hits it. Top it off with a ceiling fan for an instant breeze, and you have a perfect and comfy place to rest and recharge.
But that's not all. If Jen and Bill are craving a cup of coffee or a snack, but don't want to go all the way downstairs to get it, they can just brew a pot in the kitchenette right there in their bedroom (via Realtor). We're all about that life!
The Little Couple's $2M Mediterranean home has 4.5 bathrooms
According to Zillow, the Little Couple stars' home has not two, not three, but four bathrooms and one half bathroom — that means there are enough restrooms in the house that everyone could have their own, with one to spare!
While the listing states that the master bathroom boasts an "oversized walk-in shower with multiple heads, beautiful vanities with marble counters," it's highly likely that the couple had to renovate their bathrooms to account for their short statures. So while what's pictured there might not be what it looks like now, Dr. Jen Arnold shared some bathroom snaps on her Instagram page. In one she's clearly having a fun spa day with Zoey, who is enjoying a cucumber eye treatment.
Additionally, in another post, Jen talks about just how important her bathroom is to her. "If medicine wasn't my calling, I would have been an interior designer," she wrote in the caption. "I love my bathroom, my sanctuary to enjoy some #gentlemoments alone when I need to decompress or with my entire family when everyone needs to get ready at the same time." Must be nice!
The Little Couple's $2M mansion has a plush media room
When the Little Couple purchased their St. Petersburg home, it was replete with a super comfy-looking media room, as noted by Redfin. Located on the second story of the house, the media room has a large television, four deluxe-looking leather chairs, large windows with views of greenery, and a ceiling fan with blades shaped like leaves. It really looks like the perfect place to take in a movie or binge a series with the family.
However, it's unclear if the couple kept that space as a viewing room or if they decided to use the room for something else. They do have a television in another room in the home, which you can see on Dr. Jen Arnold's Instagram page. However, it doesn't appear to be the best place for comfortably watching TV while sitting down, as Zoey demonstrated in one Instagram post.
The fabulous Mediterranean home boasts a sweet home office
Before 2020, only a certain percentage of the workforce could say that they work from home. However, once stay-at-home orders were issued that year, a whopping 42 percent of workers were doing just that full-time, as noted by Stanford University.
While Dr. Jen Arnold works at a hospital and Bill Klein has the pet shop to run, chances are the Little Couple stars have some work to do while they're in the house. To that end, it's a good thing their $2 million abode has a home office, according to Realtor. That means there's always a quiet space that either Bill or Jen can use to write emails or review records.
However, the home office isn't where Will and Zoey get their schoolwork done, as they both have desk set-ups in the living room. That's where they do their learning, with Bill serving as the "lead [principal]" of their homeschool, according to a post on Jen's Instagram page. "I'm thankful for our health and ability to stay home and learn," she wrote in the caption.
The Little Couple's $2M canal-front home features two dock lifts
Probably the swankiest thing about the Little Couple's St. Petersburg home is the fact that it has not one, but two dock lifts, according to Zillow. That means that the family can head out via boat to Tampa Bay whenever they like and enjoy all that the estuary has to offer, including boating and wildlife spotting.
Naturally, if you have a dock lift at your house, you have to have a boat, which the Little Couple stars certainly do. You can see it in the background of a post on Dr. Jen Arnold's Instagram page. Jen, her husband, and the kids make sure to get out on the water as often as possible, which you can see in another post (as well as on the show). Sometimes, given that he loves swimming so much, Will even jumps off of the boat and into the water! "Will went swimming in the bay today," Jen shared in another post. "Only for 10 seconds because mom was nervous!" That looks like so much fun!
The Little Couple's St. Petersburg home includes a balcony off the master suite
One thing that the Tampa Bay area in Florida is known for is the region's especially beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Whether you watch the sunrise from the parking garage at Tampa International Airport or catch the sunset from Pier 60, you'll be treated to a gorgeous view.
Of course, the Little Couple don't have to leave their home to catch a beautiful view. That's because there's a private balcony just off the master suite where Dr. Jen Arnold and Bill Klein can watch the morning sun rise in the sky (via Redfin). Bill even posted a beautiful shot of their view on his Instagram page, and we're officially jealous. Jen also shared the beauty on her Instagram page, this time in a calming video. "Thought I'd share this relaxing video to calm us during a time of need," she wrote in the caption.
The Little Couple's beautiful home boasts an outdoor fire pit
The Little Couple stars' $2 million canal-front home has it all, from its posh kitchen to the sweet master suite to the outdoor pool and spa, as noted by Realtor. It's not surprising in the least that the famous family all look so happy in their house, both on the show and on social media.
But the home has one more perk that we haven't mentioned yet: Even though the climate in St. Petersburg is usually quite warm, that hasn't stopped the family from enjoying their own built-in fire pit! They even fired it up to celebrate July 4, according to a post on Dr. Jen Arnold's Instagram page. There's a good chance the family uses the fire pit when it gets chilly, too, as what's better than that? We sure would if we had one of our own.
