Kate Chastain's New Look Is Seriously Turning Heads
When Kate Chastain left Below Deck and became a host on Bravo TV's Chat Room, she knew it was time for a change of looks. "I just feel like I'm 37 and a half — and I don't think a girl should be wearing a skort at 38," the longtime chief stew told The Daily Dish afterward. It's not just skorts that Chastain has successfully gotten rid of, though. Instagram fans have been oohing and ahhing over the television personality's platinum blonde hair, which has given us major Dolly Parton vibes for months now.
The latest in the series of gapers? Bravo's own Andy Cohen, who took the opportunity to interrogate Chastain on her dramatic makeover on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen in December 2020. "I'm looking at you and feeling like you might have gotten new lips since the last time I saw you," Cohen prodded (via Bravo). If she had gotten some work done, it certainly wouldn't have been the first time. Distractify reports that Chastain has undergone laser facials and Botox treatments in the past. This time, however, she swore to Cohen that her new face was all-natural.

What's the secret to Kate Chastain's Dolly-Parton-esque makeover? For one, makeup. "I actually wore a colored lipstick, which, I think our friend [makeup artist] Caroline [Blanchard] will agree ... I never do. This is a colored lip," Chastain admitted to Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live (via Bravo).
"Is there anything else different about you?" asked an impressed Cohen. "No joke, I feel like something's been zhushed." Chastain didn't blink an eye, positing, "You know what I think it might be. I think when I'm not working 18 hour days for six weeks straight wearing a polyester uniform ... that's what you guys are used to seeing me as. So, this is land life."
If that's land life, Chastain's former Below Deck and current Chat Room colleagues are loving it on her. Around the time of her talk show appearance, a number of Below Deck stars commented on one of Chastain's latest Instagram posts. "Absolute babe," deckhand Izzy Wouters gushed, while Chat Room's Hannah Berner simply commented, "Kween." Meanwhile, star of The Real Housewives of Potomac and Chat Room, Gizelle Bryant, winked, "Hi Cutie."
We concur, obviously. Because the more Dolly Parton you go, the more glamorous you're bound to become.
