Pippa Middleton Has Big Family News
We think most people would agree 2020 has been a year full of sad and scary news. But now, royal sister Pippa Middleton reportedly has a happy announcement to share with the world. The 37-year-old is expecting her second child with her husband since 2017, James Matthews (via People). The parents already have a 2-year-old son named Arthur, whose cousins include Prince William and Kate Middleton's three children, George, Charlotte, and Louis. Although the couple has not personally confirmed the news, a source told Page Six, "Pippa and James are thrilled, it's fantastic news amid a difficult year. The entire family is delighted."
Meanwhile, hopefully the younger sister of the future queen of England is enjoying an easy pregnancy as she did previously. The English socialite said about her first pregnancy, "I was lucky to pass the 12-week scan without suffering from morning sickness. That meant I was able to carry on as normal" (via People).
We look forward to hearing more details about Pippa Middleton's pregnancy
Of course, royal watchers will recall how Kate Middleton struggled horrible with hyperemesis gravidarum, which causes extreme nausea and vomiting during pregnancy. About the debilitating condition, the mom of three has said, "It was definitely a challenge. Not just for me, but also for your loved ones around you...William didn't feel like he could do much to help. It's hard for everyone to see you suffering" (via Hello Giggles).
Meanwhile, the same day that pregnancy news broke, Pippa Middleton appeared on Zoom wearing a belly-disguising Christmas sweater while giving out awards to English students who are deaf (via People). Nary a bump was to be seen under the thick top — but perhaps that was the point of the outfit.
Here's wishing Pippa a happy and healthy pregnancy — and we can't help but hope to hear more details soon!
