The Truth About Matthew Perry's Fiance Molly Hurwitz
Before Matthew Perry got engaged to talent manager Molly Hurwitz, he had several high-profile relationships according to In Touch Weekly. The actor reportedly dated Julia Roberts from 1995 to 1996, and Gilmore Girls actress Lauren Graham in 2003, among many other rumored flings. But this time, it's the real thing, or at least it seems, with Perry announcing he proposed to Hurwitz after two years of dating (via Cosmopolitan).
The Friends star even made the engagement Instagram official — he just joined the social media platform in February — by sharing the first photos of the 29-year-old. The images helped to promote Friends-themed merchandise that raises money for the World Health Organization's COVID-19 relief efforts. His posts came weeks after he told People, "I decided to get engaged. Luckily, I happened to be dating the greatest woman on the face of the planet at this time."
But who is Molly Hurwitz?
About the woman Matthew Perry asked to marry him
Hurwitz works for Zero Gravity Management, and has been at the company since 2017, according to Hollywood Life. The outlet also notes that the future Mrs. Perry was previously romantically linked to B.J. Novak, of The Office fame, with a source telling Us Weekly, "The guys she has dated in the past have all been in the entertainment industry."
As for how the pair met, a source told The Sun in 2019, "Molly has been seeing Matthew for months, they mix in the same circles and she's originally from New York where they have spent time together. She has a very quirky sense of humour and they hit it off immediately."
The source also added, "Molly is not interested in fame and she rarely parties, she's been great for Matthew." It's worth noting that she is 22 years younger than her soon-to-be husband (via Nine.com). But it looks like the pair are as perfect for one another as Chandler Bing and Monica Geller!
