Bachelor Star Krystal Nielson Shares Big Family News
It's been a busy year for Bachelor star Krystal Nielson. In February, she announced her separation from her husband, Chris Randone, who she'd met on Bachelor in Paradise (via People). In October, she shared with the world that she'd found love with a new man, Miles Bowles (via Bustle). "I've learned this year to lean into love...To let go over the constant anxiety over what people think of me...And to stop putting MY life, and the things that me make ME happy, on hold," Nielsen said of the romance.
And now, the fitness coach is sharing with fans that she's expecting a new addition to her family. In a YouTube video titled "A New Beginning," Nielson shared a video of her waiting on the results of a pregnancy test. "Oh my God, my whole life would change," she said anxiously, seconds before she discovered she was pregnant. Moments later, she would burst into tears of joy.
"I don't really feel too scared because I just feel that this will line up," she said of the news. "I just feel excited for how it's all gonna happen."
Crystal's journey from villain to mom
Nielson first appeared on Arie Luyendyk Jr.'s season of The Bachelor, where she got a villain edit for her "fake" voice and an off-camera blow-up (via Refinery29). However, she quickly gained friends and fans with her subsequent appearance on Paradise. There, she met Chris Randone, who she later married in an on-camera ceremony during the next season of BiP (via People). Unfortunately, the rush to commit didn't translate to a strong marriage. "They weren't ready at all to get married but felt immense pressure from Bachelor Nation to have this happy ending," a source told People.
However the romance with Randone turned out, Nielson has clearly kept her Bachelor friends, since congratulations poured in over her pregnancy news. "Congratulations beautiful!!!!" Ashley Iaconneti commented on Nielson's Instagram. Her BiP cast-mates, Raven Gates and Bibiana Julian, also dropped their good wishes.
Not among the congratulators? Nielson's former husband. "They say pain is only temporary," Randone tweeted shortly after his ex's announcement.
