We Finally Know Why Paul And Karine Aren't In The 90 Day Fiancé Tell-All
We've been putting together pieces for months now. There was that time that Paul Instagrammed a picture of another woman. Could it be, mused Blasting News that the 90 Day Fiancé star was moving on? Before that, there was Karine and Paul's July 30th fight, and the respective restraining orders that henceforth separated them, like a de-facto Berlin Wall (via In Touch). "Fight" isn't the right word for it. Storm of the century maybe? We don't know much. We do know, per Cheat Sheet, that during the fight Paul insisted to the authorities, "I'm not having her rob my son, not again. She ran off and drank beer and had sex with a random guy before with my son, and I had to fight for him..." Did Karine put glass shards in Paul's food, as Paul claimed in police reports? Was Karine, as she claimed, "terrified [Paul] will hurt me or hurt my son because I runned away from him"? (via Screen Rant).
Before that, there was Paul's obsession with documenting the couple's dirty laundry on Instagram (via Screen Rant). Uncomfortably, we gawked. Before that, Paul and Karine moved from Brazil (Karine's home) to a trailer park in Kentucky, where Karine was miserable. Fans of Paul and Karine had been depending on the 90 Day Fiancé Tell-All to tell us, definitively, what was up. But the couple were conspicuously absent from the episode. And now, finally, after ET interviewed the show's host, Shaun Robinson, we know why.
How 90 Day Fiancé Host, Shaun Robinson, explained the network's decision
"The situation between Paul and Karine is a very complicated and sensitive one," Shaun Robinson explained to ET, "so when we were about to do the tell-all, their situation was very fresh, and so we wanted to give them the space to really work through that."
The decision may have been a disappointing one for 90 Day Fiancé fans, who are still in the lurch. It seems, however, to have been the right one for Paul and Karine. For one, the two seem to have dropped their respective restraining orders (via US Weekly). And, Instagram suggests that Paul is now in Brazil. He is, apparently, preparing a home for Karine, their son, and their unborn second child (via Screen Rant). As reported by Screen Rant in an interview with 90 Day Fiancé blogger, John Yates, Paul confirmed that the two are now back together. Karine, apparently, will move back to Brazil. Paul, however, is planning on moving back and forth between the two countries to give Karine her space.
