The Truth About Grayson Chrisley
Grayson Chrisley has grown up in front of our eyes on Chrisley Knows Best. Grayson is the youngest of the Chrisley kids and possibly the most spoiled. As noted on his USA Network bio, Grayson is also "the most charming and gets away with just about everything."
The reality star got his first iPhone at the tender age of 4, and has free use of his mom's credit card. In spite of a penchant for "get[ting] into mischief with his siblings," Grayson is a good kid who "always caves to his parent's inquiries."
Grayson is most famous for appearing on Chrisley Knows Best, but he's a budding star in his own right. Per IMDb, the now-teenager has made appearances on other reality shows over the years including Steve Harvey, The Real, and Big Star Little Star. He also appeared in the 2016 film Sharknado 4: The 4th Awakens playing himself.
Grayson Chrisley has started posting more on social media
Outside of appearing on Chrisley Knows Best and the occasional acting gig, Grayson appears to be your ordinary high school kid — albeit a rich and famous one. He recently re-joined social media after a long hiatus. Grayson first debuted on the social media platform in 2016, although the account was run by his dad, Todd Chrisley, at that point, and was set up out of sheer necessity since so many people had started fake accounts in his name.
"Hello everyone, Grayson now has an official Instagram," wrote Todd in an early Instagram post. "I will be monitoring this site with every post he makes, we have set this account up to stop all the folks claiming to be the Real Grayson, so everyone give our little buddy a follow please."
A handful of posts were made on the account in 2016, but it then went quiet for four years before Grayson posted a picture of himself playing baseball in July 2020. The account's bio now says it is run jointly by Todd and Grayson. While he's still not a prolific Instagram user, we might be getting more insight into his personal life going forward as he seems to be using the platform more.
Grayson Chrisley has a close bond with his sister, Savannah Chrisley
There's always plenty of drama going on in the Chrisley household, and it seems like there's always at least one Chrisley estranged from the family at any given time, but Grayson and his sister Savannah seem to have a solid bond. Grayson has posted about Savannah a few times on his Instagram account and considering how infrequently he posts — and the fact that he hasn't posted about his other siblings — that's a pretty big deal.
"I love you @savannahchrisley you are the prettiest girl ever and already are the winner in my heart," he captioned a picture of Savannah in 2016. In 2020, he posted a picture of himself with his sister, writing, "She's been my best friend my whole life and I am glad for that, I love you @savannahchrisley." A few months later, Grayson again posted a picture of Savannah on Instagram, this time to promote her makeup line, Sassy by Savannah. "She's my sister and I love her more than anything @savannahchrisley," he wrote in the caption of the headshot. "I'm proud of you and your @sassybysavannah cosmetics."
While Bravo's The Daily Dish notes that there's a nine-year age gap between the two siblings, they look so much alike that Savannah has joked they could be twins. "Twins or nah?" she captioned a 2019 Instagram photo of the two of them.
Is Grayson Chrisley the favorite of the family?
Being the youngest of the Chrisley kids means that Grayson has received a lot of attention not just from his parents but from his older siblings his whole life. That doesn't mean that he gets away with everything, though — his parents aren't afraid to lay down the law when necessary. That being said, his bond with his dad, Todd, is a unique one as the baby of the family.
In Season 8 of Chrisley Knows Best, Grayson got in some trouble after sneaking out of the house to go to a party, and it ended with a surprising revelation from Todd. Grayson's parents were understandably furious and grounded him, which prompted his brother, Chase, to reveal some of the shenanigans he got up to as a teenager — including "stealing" his dad's cars and relying on Savannah to help him sneak out of the house.
"Grayson actually is a good kid," admitted Todd in the episode (via The Sun). "He's a great kid. He's an amazing kid. He's the love of my life now that I know Savannah's a car thief, I love Grayson more than I do her."
