The Real Reason Dorit Kemsley Is Selling Her Brand New Mansion
Apparently, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Dorit Kemsley plans on moving on up from the brand new mansion she moved into just a few months ago (via DailyMail). Dorit and her husband, Paul Kemsley a.k.a. PK, purchased the gigantic Encino home in 2019 for $6.5 million. They moved their two children, Jagger and Phoenix, into the mansion at the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic. So why are Dorit and PK looking to move already?
According to them, it's all about space. A source told DailyMailTV that the Kemsleys planned to run both of their businesses out of the house, which, combined with home schooling their children, didn't leave them with enough room. Apparently an expansive gourmet kitchen, an open concept lounge, a cozy den, a private movie theatre, and an inside playroom plus bedrooms just isn't enough space for the family of four. Did we forget to mention the pool and the basketball court?
Dorit Kemsley and PK are listing their house for a lot of money
When Dorit Kemsley and PK bought their new home, they paid a pricy $6.475 million. Now, they're putting the mansion back on the market at a shocking $9.5 million. If the couple manages to sell at the listed price, they'll make a profit of $3 million. According to The Blast, the two are rumored to be in debt of over $1 million, which could be another explanation for the quick move.
As for real estate agents, Dorit and PK are keeping things in the Bravo family. Realtor David Parnes, who is featured on the Bravo show Million Dollar Listing, will be taking on selling the luxurious mansion. Parnes also has connections to another Beverly Hills Housewife; he works with Mauricio Umansky, husband of RHOBH star Kyle Richards. Maybe this means Dorit's quest to sell her mansion will be featured on multiple Bravo shows. For now, Dorit's still showing off her house on Instagram... while still hawking outfits from Beverly Beach, of course.
