Reality Steve Just Made A Surprising Claim About Clare Crawley

Clare Crawley's Bachelorette season has been eventful, to say the least. First it was postponed due to COVID-19, then she quit the show shortly after filming began and was replaced with Tayshia Adams, and now she's engaged. That is, according to Reality Steve who — as Bachelor Nation well knows — can usually be trusted to deliver accurate spoilers.

What is even happening? Clare reportedly fell for contestant Dale Moss right away, and it seems like their relationship got really serious, really fast because Clare quickly refused to go out with any of her other contestants. While this seems pretty soon for an engagement, Bachelorette time does not flow like normal time. Even if she hadn't fallen for Dale right away and stuck through the season, there's a good chance Clare would have wound up with a ring on her finger pretty soon.

Of course, if you believe Reality Steve, things didn't happen that fast. He wrote on his website that Clare and Dale were talking before the show even started filming, so make of that what you will.

Will Clare Crawley's engagement air on The Bachelorette?

So how did all of this go down? Reality Steve didn't provide us with too many details, but he did confirm that Dale put a ring on it on his Instagram Live (via Cosmopolitan). "Him and Clare are together and most certainly engaged," he said.

There's no word on whether Dale had to pick out his own ring or if the show provided him with a custom Neil Lane engagement ring as they typically do for Bachelor and Bachelorette proposals.

The good news is that we'll likely see the proposal as part of Clare and Tayshia's Bachelorette season. Clare and Dale are still holed up at the resort where the show is being filmed this year due to COVID-19, after all, so it's almost certain that cameras caught the whole thing on tape. There was also a fireworks display scheduled at the resort earlier this month — perhaps so Dale could pop the question with a bang?
