What Ivanka Trump Really Looks Like Underneath All That Makeup

She may be a controversial figure, particularly considering the apparent nepotism that led to her being hired, alongside husband Jared Kushner, to a couple of the highest positions in Donald Trump's White House. But Ivanka Trump has also become something of a fashion icon in the years since her father was elected. She's frequently spotted at high-profile events, wearing the most stunning, and eye-wateringly expensive designer duds (via Insider). And often, her choice of color is debated throughout the land.

As The Guardian notes, Ivanka may opt for white, for example, to show purity or relatability. She also might be wearing white to symbolize cleanliness during a global pandemic. Ivanka isn't always relatable, all-white ensembles or not, but when she goes makeup-free, this First Daughter shows she's just like the rest of us underneath it all — only much better looking, of course.

Ivanka Trump has flawless skin

In March, Ivanka took to social media to share a series of inspirational videos, all of which she shot proudly makeup-free (supposedly). She captioned the first video, "We'll never stop fighting for America's small business owners" (via Instagram). In the short clip, Ivanka's skin looks radiant and completely free from blemishes, while her eyes are bright and shining. The First Daughter's hair is relaxed and loose, while she dons a simple black zip-top, emphasizing how important the issues at hand are.

The senior advisor to President Trump is known for looking glamorous and perfectly put-together at all times, so this is a nice change of pace for her. Although, really, it's unsurprising Ivanka has no qualms about going makeup free on social media with a complexion this flawless.

Ivanka Trump's bone structure is stunning

Just a month later, Ivanka went makeup free again for another post, this time discussing the importance of staying vigilant during the COVID-19 pandemic. Ivanka opted for a gray top and pulled her hair back into a loose bun, emphasizing her incredible bone structure. "In these toughest of times, America shows her spirit and strength. This will end and we will emerge stronger than ever before. ‬ ‪In the meantime, social distancing saves lives! Please do your part. We are all in this together," she urged followers in her caption (via Instagram).

The fashionista has been spotted out and about publicly wearing a mask, recently even matching hers with a designer look, per Express. The busy mother was snapped leaving her Washington home in a belted, sage green, Ralph Lauren shirt dress, with a mask in the same shade to complete the ensemble.

Ivanka Trump knows exactly how she wants to look

Makeup artist to the stars Trish McEvoy and Ivanka go way back, with the two originally meeting when they lived in the same apartment building in NYC. According to an interview with the Evening Standard, McEvoy was doing the First Daughter's makeup back when she was first finding her feet in the property business. Still, Ivanka was always 100 percent Ivanka. As McEvoy advises, "She always had a controlled sense of how she wanted to look. If you have that, you're not swayed all the time by some trend that might not work for you."

Likewise, as Ivanka's stunning makeup-free glamour shots document, "She has almost perfect features, which helps." Unsurprisingly, Ivanka sticks to a very strict skincare routine. As she regaled the Times of India"As a teenager, my mother once woke me up in the middle of the night to insist I remove my makeup. She felt like it was terrible for the skin, and I tend to agree."

Being glamorous isn't as important as being kind, according to Ivanka Trump

In fact, the personal advisor to the Trump White House has been a fan of makeup since she could walk. Ivanka has fond memories of watching her mother, Ivana, Trump's first wife, getting dolled up to go out, reminiscing to Oprah, "I used to love sitting on the bathroom floor in my pajamas and watching my mother get ready for an event. She'd stand in front of her vanity and apply bright red and blue makeup — it was the '80s, you know."

Ivanka is adamant about passing the lessons she learned from her mother on to her own daughter, especially when it comes to glamour not being the most important thing in a woman's life. As she told Times of India, "It's crucial to me to impart to Arabella that confidence, strength and grace are what really makes a woman beautiful. The makeup and skincare are fun, but it's who you are as a person that matters the most."
