How Claudia Conway Feels About Her Parents Withdrawing From Politics

Kellyanne Conway's big announcement that she will be leaving her position as senior advisor to President Donald Trump to focus on her family came as quite the shock. Conway's husband, George Conway, has also announced that he will also be withdrawing from politics and leaving The Lincoln Project, a group dedicated to defeating Trump in the 2020 presidential election.

"Our four children are teens and 'tweens starting a new academic year, in middle school and high school, remotely from home for at least a few months," wrote Conway in a statement she shared on Twitter. "As millions of parents nationwide know, kids 'doing school from home' requires a level of attention and vigilance that is as unusual as these times." George tweeted that, like his wife, he will be focusing on his family.

One person who seems to be happy about the news is the Conways' 15-year-old daughter, Claudia Conway. Claudia has long been critical of her parents' conservative stances, especially her mother's position in the Trump administration.

Claudia Conway does not agree with her parents' politics

The day before Conway announced her resignation, Claudia tweeted that she plans on "officially pushing for emancipation," writing in another tweet that her mom's job "ruined [her] life." While George is not a fan of Trump, he's still a conservative, and Claudia tweeted that, when it comes to politics, they "agree on absolutely nothing." In another tweet, posted mere hours before her mom's announcement, Claudia alleged that she suffered from "years of childhood trauma and abuse."

Claudia posted videos on TikTok reacting to her parents' announcements. In the first TikTok video, she can be seen with her mom's resignation announcement in the background. "Y'all, I know I said I was taking a break [from TikTok] but um, um, um, um," said the teen.

The second TikTok video showcases her father's announcement in the background. "Look what I did," said Claudia, proudly. "Look at what I did, ladies and gentlemen. Look at what I did." While Claudia seemed happy that her parents are stepping back from politics, she added in the caption that it won't stop her from trying to get emancipated.
