Vanderpump Rules Stars Just Revealed Exciting Family Plans
It seems that Katie Maloney-Schwartz and Tom Schwartz are ready to take some exciting next steps for their family. The Vanderpump Rules stars first married in 2016, though due to a paperwork snafu, they celebrated a second wedding and got legally married in 2019 (via E!).
Recently, in an Instagram live chat with Hollywood Life, Katie revealed that she and Tom are trying to add another member to their family. "I don't want to think about it too much or put too much pressure on it," she said. "We are actively trying, but time will tell, I guess!"
Katie and Tom were in no rush to have kids. Tom once told US Weekly, "During life, during brunch, during interviews, we're like, 'Yes, we're ready to have kids,' but then we get home and we're like, 'Uh ...' When it comes down to it and you're in the bedroom, you're like, 'OK, we're doing this. We're just trying to make a baby.' It's scary." It sounds like the couple has finally decided that the time is right.
Stassi Schroeder gave Katie baby fever
Katie's not the only former SURver with babies on the brain. Stassi Schroeder, Katie's former co-star and business partner for Witches of WeHo wine, announced her pregnancy in June (via US Weekly). Katie told US that Stassi's pregnancy had given her a "little bit" of baby fever. Until she has her own, Katie is excited about the prospect of playing babysitter for Stassi.
"It's so cute to see her," Katie told Hollywood Life about Stassi. "She's got her baby bump and it's just so wild to see her body changing and growing and knowing that there's a little alien inside of her!" Though they'd doubtless be entertaining, Katie's adventures in babysitting are unlikely to play out on screen. Stassi will not be appearing on the next season of Vanderpump Rules after she and Kristen Doute were fired for making a false police report about Faith Stowers in 2018. In January, newly married Vanderpump couple Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor announced they were putting any baby plans on hold (via Bravo).
