The Untold Truth Of Kroy Biermann
Long before he was gracing our TV screens on Bravo's reality series, Don't Be Tardy, Kroy Biermann was a boy from Montana who happened to be a remarkable athlete. After attending the University of Montana, Biermann was selected in the fifth round of the NFL draft by the Atlanta Falcons (via Bravo). But he's perhaps most well-known for his marriage to Real Housewives of Atlanta star, Kim Zolciak.
Today, the pair have four children together (KJ, Kash, Kane, and Kaia), along with her two daughters (Brielle and Ariana) from previous relationships. Between running their businesses and raising six children, Biermann doesn't have too much downtime on his hands. But there's more to this former NFL dad than meets the eye.
Before his time as a professional football player, he studied to become a criminal psychologist. "I started out as a pre-pharmacy major at college and finished with a degree in criminology and a minor in psychology," he said to Bravo. "That was going to be the route I was going to go. My life went in the direction it went in and I'm super excited that it did."
Kroy Biermann is a true family man
Judging by his love for his four children with his wife, Biermann shows how devoted he is to being a dad. In 2013, he legally adopted Kim's children Brielle and Ariana who were then 16 and 12 (via E! Online). Originally, Kim claims she wasn't looking for a relationship, but Biermann won her over when her daughters approved almost instantly.
After getting cut from the Buffalo Bills in 2016, Biermann took to household tasks with ease. He told Bravo at the time, "I joke with Kim sometimes I should be a stay-at-home dad. I love it that much." He's also handy with at-home jobs, supporting the couple's businesses and even working part-time as Kim's hairstylist! No matter what his family needs, Biermann's Montana roots seem to help him get things done.
With his relationship with Kim as strong as ever, it's hard to believe that Biermann once tried to break up with his wife. On her Instagram, Kim posted a photo of her husband in a speedo with the caption, "Fun Fact: Today 8 years ago Kroy TRIED to break up with me ... that lasted only 24hrs grateful for you baby!"
