Rumors And Spoilers About The Kissing Booth 2
The Kissing Booth 2 is almost here, and fans can't wait. The sequel to the popular Netflix film The Kissing Booth, The Kissing Booth 2 picks up where the first movie left off. Will the sequel be able to match up to the magic of the first film?
The Kissing Booth 2 brings back a lot of familiar faces from the first film. Joey King and Jacob Elordi reprise their roles as the film's central couple, Elle and Noah. The couple got together in The Kissing Booth and are now in a long distance relationship as Noah has headed off to college. The trailer for the film shows that their relationship gets complicated in The Kissing Booth 2, as does Elle's relationship with her best friend, Noah's brother, Lee (played by Joel Courtney).
Like the first film, The Kissing Booth 2 also features a kissing booth, and Elle tries to recruit new student Marco (played by Taylor Zakhar Perez) for the fundraiser. We'll also see Elle struggle with college applications as she tries to decide whether or not to follow her boyfriend to Harvard.
Do Elle and Noah break up in The Kissing Booth 2?
While the trailer for The Kissing Booth 2 assures us that Elle and Noah are together at the beginning of the film, things quickly get complicated as Noah heads off to college and Elle worries about him seeing other women. Given the pressures of a long distance relationship, plus the hard time Elle has trusting her boyfriend, it's possible that they might go their separate ways at some point in the movie.
Like the first film, The Kissing Booth 2 is based on a book by Beth Reekles, so the book can give us a hint at what the Netflix film has in store. Per The Kissing Booth 2: Going the Distance's synopsis on Amazon, the book version of Elle finds herself in a love triangle between Noah and "the new boy at school" who is "gentle, sweet, cute — and definitely interested in Elle," so expect some drama with Elle and Marco.
The Kissing Booth 2 premieres on July 24 on Netflix.
