Here's How Kelley Flanagan's Mom Really Feels About Peter Weber

After one of the most convoluted endings in Bachelor history, Peter Weber isn't with the show's winner, Hannah Ann Sluss, or with the runner-up, Madison Prewett — who he broke up with Hannah Ann for — or even anyone from his final four. Instead, he's seeing Kelley Flanagan, a contestant who he once described to The Viall Files (via CheatSheet) as being "too smart almost for the show."

The whole thing has been a wild ride and we feel sorry for the broken hearts Peter has left in his wake, but here's hoping that this relationship lasts for a while. It looks like Kelley's mom, at least, approves of her daughter's new beau. In the comments of an Instagram photo Kelley shared of herself with her mom on Mother's Day, a fan asked what Kelley's mom, Connie, really thought of Peter. "She loves him!" said Kelley (via PureWow).

Peter's mom, Barb, who Bachelor fans rallied against for her overbearing ways during Peter's season, is also on board — and already excited to meet her potential future in-laws. "Can't wait to meet Connie," she wrote in the comments of the post.

Kelley Flanagan and Peter Weber's relationship is going strong

The fact that both Kelley's mom and Peter's mom seem to be rooting for the relationship bodes well for the couple. Peter's mom even made an Instagram collage of the couple, which is kind of intense but also super sweet. "Serendipity," she wrote in the caption.

Of course, what really matters is how Peter and Kelley feel about each other. The couple seem to be going strong in spite of their rocky start. While it's too early to say if they'll end up getting married, Peter is optimistic about their future.

"So, obviously we'll see what the future holds for Kelley and I, but I think it's a beautiful story, definitely a beautiful love story of what's yours is yours and it will always come back to you, no matter what," he told a fan in a Cameo video. "That's kind of been our relationship. We've kept coming back in each other's lives."
