You'll Definitely Want To Head To T.J. Maxx As Stores Reopen. Here's Why
While we are still in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, lockdown restrictions are slowly easing up across the world. This means that while we should still be diligent about washing our hands and wearing face masks, things are starting to return to normal. Non-essential stores which shut their physical doors to shoppers are now gradually opening to the public.
One store you'll definitely want to hit up once it's open in your area is T.J. Maxx. T.J. Maxx has always been a treasure trove for those looking for designer brands at a bargain, but a recent video from TikTok user Anna Sudberry took viewers on a tour of a newly reopened store in Tennessee and it's even better than we remember.
Not only were the shelves filled with merchandise customers will want to get their hands on like candles, furniture, and clothing, but almost all of it was on clearance. Of course, we can't promise that all T.J. Maxx stores will open up with major sales, but here's hoping.
T.J. Maxx is working to keep its customers and employees safe
While T.J. Maxx stores may be opening up, social distancing is still encouraged and the retailer is working hard to keep shoppers safe. In the video, Sudberry showed that social distancing markers are in place at the checkout line to help customers stay six feet apart. Shoppers are also shown via floor stickers which way to walk down each aisle.
Per a press release from TJK, T.J. Maxx's parent company, the retailer is taking public safety very seriously. Reopened T.J. Maxx stores are installing protective shields at cash registers, implementing new safety guidelines for handling returned products, and cleaning highly-touched surfaces throughout the day. Employees will also wear face masks and "implement social distancing work practices." All customers will also be expected to wear face coverings as well.
It looks like T.J. Maxx will be the place to go for people who have missed IRL shopping sprees but also want to stay safe.
