The One Thing Susan Boyle Would Change About Her Britain's Got Talent Audition

In 2019, Susan Boyle rose to fame on Britain's Got Talent when she impressed the judges and TV audience by belting out a stunning version of "I Dreamed A Dream" from Les Miserables. However, despite going viral and winning over fans from all around the globe, leading her to worldwide success for years to come, she recently admitted that she had one very specific regret about her time on the hit British reality TV show.

Speaking to OK! Magazine (via Express), Boyle revealed what she thought about her very first audition: "I've watched it back a couple of times, and thought to myself, 'Who the heck is she? Where did she come from?'" Referring to the way she was moving during her audition, the singer continued, "I seemed like I was auditioning for a belly dancing competition when I did the hip wiggle and said, 'I'm 47 and that's just one side of me.'"

Susan Boyle admits that that the "hip wiggle" isn't even the first thing she'd do differently

Though Boyle's hip wiggle didn't stop her from progressing to the next round, she admits: "If I had the chance to do it again I'd cut that bit out!" (via Express). During an interview with America's Got Talent (via Metro), she also revealed that if she were to do it again, she would definitely rethink her outfit choice. "If I was doing my audition all over again, I would make sure I wasn't dressed in the dark for a start,' the star said. "I mean white shoes with black tights, you don't do that do you?" she joked.

But what Boyle thinks is cringeworthy, we can't help but think is part of her charm. And it seems Hollywood agrees, considering recent reports suggesting Boyle's life story is set to be turned into a TV film (via Edinburgh Live).
