Here's How Much RHOBH's Kyle Richards Is Really Worth
Real Housewives of Beverly Hills OG Kyle Richards stands apart from many of the famous ladies with whom she shares the screen thanks to boasting a career all of her own prior to popping up on Bravo. Richards, was a prolific child star, along with sister Kim, appearing in the likes of Little House on the Prairie and John Carpenter's seminal slasher Halloween before she'd even hit her teens.
Her half-sister is Kathy Hilton, mother of Paris and Nicky Hilton, so clearly Richards is surrounded by wealth and prosperity. Reluctant to rest on her laurels, however, the reality star and actress is also a producer and businesswoman in her own right. She may have infamously chosen love over money, at least in the beginning, but there's no doubt Richards is rolling in it nowadays.
Kyle Richards is a multi-hyphenate businesswoman
The Bravo star and busy mother is married to real estate tycoon Mauricio Umansky, owner of the swanky, Beverly Hills-based luxury real estate company The Agency. The two tied the knot back in 1996. However, Richards is notably one of the Real Housewives with huge secrets, partly because she was actually married previously. From the late 1980s to 1992, she was married to Guraish Aldjufrie.
But, of course, RHOBH put Richards, who'd acted as Nurse Dori Kerns in ER from 1998 to 2006, on the map and, in 2011, she released a book about her experiences entitled Life Is Not a Reality Show: Keeping It Real with the Housewife Who Does It All. She was later a contestant on The Celebrity Apprentice in 2017. Elsewhere, she owned the Beverly Hills store Kyle by Alene Too for many years. PayScale conservatively estimates that most retail owners make tens of thousands annually. Not a bad side income!
RHOBH has made Kyle Richards a millionaire
According to Celebrity Net Worth, Richards makes $270,000 per season of RHOBH, which is easily her main money-maker, even with residuals from the likes of Little House on the Prairie. She told Extra it would take a lot for her to step away from RHOBH, sharing, "When the bad outweighs the good, I won't be back."
Richards also served as co-executive producer on American Woman, a short-lived series loosely based on the life of her childhood. The Bravo star confirmed on Instagram that it was canceled after just one season, writing, "I'm so proud of the show we made and am so grateful for the talented team of people it took to create it. We put our hearts & souls into it."
Her current net worth is reportedly $50 million, but, with the rumored salary cuts at Bravo, Richards may be looking to expand her streams of income again if necessary.
