What Meghan Markle's Life Has Been Like Since Stepping Back From The Royal Family
It hasn't been long since Meghan Markle and Prince Harry announced that they would be stepping back from their duties as senior royals, but Markle is already making big changes to her life. Not only did she ink a deal with Disney to do voiceover work in exchange for a charitable contribution to conservation organization Elephants Without Borders, but she also went back to Canada where she recently spent the holidays.
It seems like the Duchess of Sussex isn't wasting any time getting settled into her new life, one where she doesn't have to deal with the day-to-day pressures of being a royal — not to mention the intense scrutiny that comes with it. There are plenty of things that Markle and Prince Harry won't be able to do since stepping back from the royal family, but Markle appears to be relishing the freedom in what she can do.
What has Markle's life been like since she stepped back from the royal family?
Meghan Markle is keeping a low profile in Canada
A source recently told E! News that Meghan Markle is staying at the same lavish mansion in Canada where she spent the holidays with Prince Harry and baby Archie. While Prince Harry is still in the UK tying up loose ends with the royal family, Markle seems to be comfortable laying low with Archie in the mansion. "She mostly stays home but ventures out around mid-day just to get out," said the source.
Markle is also reportedly driving around a Range Rover, with security following behind her. It looks like her mother, Doria Ragland, has also joined her. "She has gone for a drive around town and to pick up someone at the airport that looked like her mom," the source dished.
There will no doubt be many more big changes for Meghan Markle in the coming weeks, but for now, it looks like she is enjoying a well-deserved breather.
