RHOBH Star Teddi Mellencamp Reveals She Is Expecting A Baby Girl
Teddi Mellencamp is about to be a mother — for the third time. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star is adding to her growing family, excitedly revealing the new bundle of joy is a girl. Mellencamp currently has two children with husband Edwin Arroyave (5-year-old son Cruz and 6-year-old daughter Slate), and there is little doubt Slate will be delighted to hear she has a little sister on the way.
The reality star and accountability coach took to Instagram to share the happy news in the most Beverly Hills way possible — via balloons, matching pink and blue pajamas, and a whole heap of confetti.
Teddi Mellencamp's whole family joined celebrating the new baby
Mellencamp confirmed on Instagram, with a sweet slideshow of videos and photos, she'd had a gender reveal party over the weekend. The whole family was there, dressed in matching boy/girl PJs as they happily popped black balloons to release smaller pink balloons and confetti. "It's a girl!" the Real Housewives star gushed alongside the post." Of course, we would have been equally excited either way, as @tedwinator, the kids and I are just blessed to have a healthy baby no matter the gender."
Mellencamp also joked she'd promised Cruz he could help name the new baby, saying, "Not sure she'll be too thrilled being called 'Catboy' Arroyave." Her husband also commented on the photo, admitting, "I was so convinced we were having a boy that it took me some time to realize the confetti was pink. Blessed and excited to be having another girl!"
Teddi Mellencamp is grateful for her new baby girl
The Real Housewives star confirmed earlier this month that she was expecting another baby, again via Instagram, with a shot of her bump decked out in chic workout attire. "Life is full of miracles," Mellencamp captioned the pic.
The soon-to-be mother-of-three previously said last year that she didn't think another baby was in the cards. "I would love to more than anything," she wrote in response to a fan on Instagram, via People. "Most likely no though. I had multiple miscarriages before Cruz and the IVF process was very hard for me and I am not sure I can go through it again."
Mellencamp was quick to note how grateful she was for Cruz and Slate at the time, however, noting, "I feel very blessed with the kiddos we have."
