How Flip Or Flop Star Tarek El Moussa's Girlfriend Feels About Christina Anstead

When couples split up, they typically want nothing to do with each other. Flip or Flop hosts Christina Anstead and Tarek El Moussa have proven to be the exception to that rule, though. Season 8 of the HGTV show premiered on August 1 with the former husband-and-wife team at the helm. Some fans thought things might be a little awkward now that El Moussa is dating Heather Rae Young of Netflix's Selling Sunset, but Young said she supports her new beau and Flip or Flop.

"I'm a really confident person and I'm confident in our relationship, and I think what he does and everything he has going on is so amazing," Young told Radar Online on August 12. "I'm fully supportive of everything."

While El Moussa and Anstead have been successfully working together since their 2016 breakup, it's possible that they might part ways in the future. Both of them have new shows, after all, with Anstead hosting Christina on the Coast and El Moussa set to star on Flipping 101 w/ Tarek El Moussa in 2020. They also seem happy in their new relationships. El Moussa has been seeing Young since July, while Anstead married Ant Anstead last December. 

For now, though, the HGTV show is going strong and El Moussa and Anstead are happy with their working partnership. They're determined to keep their relationship strong for the sake of Flip or Flop as well as their kids. "For me, I have to make a decision," El Moussa recently told People Now. "What's more important: Letting my emotions get in the way, or showing up, doing my job, treating her with respect and doing what's best for my kids?"

He added, "Bottom line, kids come first. We will never let our emotions or any personal issues we have get in the way of the kids. That's it."
