Joining the show at only 18 years old, the blonde stunner shared with "Good Morning America" that she's been training for this moment for most of her life. "Since I've been like 8 years old, my goal has been to get on 'Dancing With the Stars,'" she said. "I have spent my whole dance career to be on the show and get ready for the show, which is just so crazy that it's finally happening."

In addition to taking classes, training with coaches, and attending dance conferences and camps, Arnold has been competing in ballroom dance competitions since she was still in single-digit ages. In 2014, at 9 years old, she made it all the way to the finals at the WDC World Championship in Paris. More recently, in 2019, she represented the U.S. in the finals in the same competition, this time in Dublin, ranking as the fifth best in the world. To say she's qualified to compete in "Dancing With the Stars" is an understatement.

Fans of DWTS may recognize Rylee's last name

Little sisters always want to be like their big sisters, and sometimes those dreams come true. Long-time fans of "Dancing With the Stars" will recognize Rylee Arnold's last name — big sister Lindsay Arnold was a professional dancer on the show for over 15 seasons, not to mention one of the internet's favorite "DWTS" pros. There's an 11-year age gap between the siblings, so when Lindsay started on "DWTS" when she was 19, Arnold was only 8 years old, and already training to be just like her big sister.

"I literally grew up going to all the tapings of 'Dancing With the Stars,'" Arnold shared with "Good Morning America."  At age 13, she got her first taste of pairing with a celebrity when she was the "professional" partner in the first season of "Dancing With the Stars: Juniors." The kid couples were paired with a pro-dancer mentor from the adult version of the show and Lindsay, having just won Season 25 of "DWTS," served as their guide.

For Arnold's premiere on "Dancing With the Stars" in September 2023, her dancing sibling was in the audience, cheering her on. She offered up support and kudos to her baby sister via Instagram, writing, "Can't even put into words how proud I am of this beautiful girl."

YouTube, sisters, and the addition of something

While she may have filled in her big sister's dancing shoes on "Dancing With the Stars," Rylee Arnold has two other sisters who support her endeavors, too. In fact, the quartet of siblings have their own YouTube channel, The Arnold Sisters, where Rylee, Lindsay, Brynley, and Jensen have been vlogging about their lives since 2019. You may recognize Jensen (she was blonde back then) as the Season 15 runner-up of "So You Think You Can Dance." Sister Brynley also dances for fun but is a nurse by profession.

The channel features dance moves, for sure, but also personal moments. You'll see all about Rylee's first high-school dance, a promposal, her first time driving a car, a rousing game of Never Have I Ever, and a day in the life at her Dublin dance competition.

The dancer has also shared some emotional moments as well, including when she was hospitalized and diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes two years ago when she was 16 years old. She's since figured out how to live and dance with the autoimmune disease, although last year, she did share she has her moments of insecurity. "There's sometimes when I'm just like, 'Why? Life could be so much easier.' But I still have a good life, and I'm still doing exactly what I was doing before I had diabetes. It's just an addition of something." And maybe, she'll have one more addition: a mirror ball trophy.
