We Unpack All The Excitement In New Days Of Our Lives Trailer

There's a good reason why "Days of Our Lives" has been on the air for more than five decades. While some of the faces and storylines have changed over the years, the Peacock sudser remains a daytime television favorite for loyal fans who have been watching the show from the very beginning, despite all of the shocking cast exits and ever-changing storylines. Well, it looks like "DOOL" fans have even more changes to look forward to as the soap opera dropped its latest winter promo, including some major twists and turns and Salem bombshells. According to Michael Fairman TV, the preview was unveiled on the same day as the "Days of Our Lives" press day in Los Angeles, where the show stars got to meet and greet some of their biggest fans.

The very beginning of the winter sneak peek shows Konstantin (John Kapelos) and Theresa (Emily O'Brien) discovering that Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) is Victor Kiriakis' (John Aniston) real biological son. Also, a familiar face is coming back to play a brand-new character, too.

According to the latest "Days of Our Lives" promo, Blake Berris, who was once best known for his role as Nick Fallon, is returning as a new character named Everett. He'll be sharing scenes with both Jada (Elia Cantu) and Stephanie (Abigail Klein). If that weren't enough, it looks like there's going to be several weddings and a possible baby swap storyline, and Sloan (Jessica Seraty) is in the middle of it all. Not only that, but it looks like she's got two co-conspirators in the names of Leo (Greg Rikaart) and Dimitri (Peter Porte). There's also a strong possibility that "The Pawn" will resurface in the form of Steve (Stephen Nichols). Not only that, but nostalgia is also knocking on the front door of the DiMera Estate as Harris (Steve Burton) and Ava (Tamara Braun) are getting up close and personal again. Where there are flames, there's also fire, and it seems like the Horton house will turn into ashes right before the holidays, too.

Many "Days of Our Lives" fans also had a lot of thoughts to unpack about the trailer on social media. Some even commented with, "I knew it was Alexandrios 'Xander' was really Victor's son when he got married to Sarah he gave him a ring and called him son!! Plus he always kept Xander around," along with, "Another Devil comeback with the burning down of the Horton family home???"
