10 Vacation Photos From The Stars Of Hallmark That Bring The Heat

Mittens and hats, scarves and wool coats — when you think of Hallmark movies, your mind most often turns to snow-covered towns during the holidays. You'll also find beach resorts, small-town farms, and European landmarks popping up in a bevy of films and features. While Hallmark films a lot in Canada, they've also been known to go on location for movies like "Love's Greek to Me" (shot in Greece) and "The Dancing Detective: A Deadly Tango" (shot in Malta).

While these locales allow you to picture your favorite Hallmark stars in a variety of settings, you never really get to see their true personalities emerge, all relaxed and happy as if they were on vacation.

Luckily, there are camera phones and Instagram, and actors who are willing to share glimpses into their downtime as they head to other countries, states, or even their own backyard. And all of them bring plenty of heat (and not just from the sun).

Tyler Hynes

That's not a flipped picture — that's an actual in-motion shot of Tyler Hynes falling into the water as a fiery sunset highlights all his best parts. While he's wearing some blonded-out locks for this boys' trip adventure, you're used to seeing him with dark hair on the Hallmark Channel, starring in movies like "A Picture of Her" and "Three Wise Men and a Baby." Hynes posts a personal pic on Instagram once a week with the hashtag #tylertuesday, and we especially love it when he shows off how much time he spends at the gym.

Heather Hemmens

She may have had "A Pinch of Portugal," and a "Caribbean Summer," but it was in Corinth, Greece, where Hallmark star Heather Hemmens positively glowed in white. Posed at the bow of a canal-cruising boat, she's got the perfect sunnies, an orange-tipped drink, fabulous hoop earrings, and sculpted shoulders highlighted by a crisscrossed halter bikini top. "By far one of the most beautiful and memorable sights I've ever seen," she captioned the photo on Instagram. Agreed — and we're not talking about the trees.

Erin Krakow

Considering Hallmark fans are used to seeing Erin Krakow in long, heavy skirts in "When Calls the Heart," her shin-length watermelon socks are almost scandalous. But fear not, she wasn't trying to shock or corrupt the townspeople of Hope Valley, but rather enjoy a little stay-cation time and celebrate National Watermelon Day. Well, there might have been one other Hope Valley resident exposed to her hijinks — it was none other than her "When Calls the Heart" co-star Pascale Hutton who snapped the pic.

Colin Lawrence

"Nice to be back" is what Colin Lawrence wrote on his Instagram photo featuring blue skies and blue water. Being a little tongue-in-cheek, he was referring not only to his return vacation trip to Maui, but the glorious expanse of his actual back filling the camera frame. While we're used to seeing him in water-related territory, thanks to his part as Preacher on "Virgin River," this is a whole other world. And so is his time playing in wine country in "Napa Ever After," a Mahogany Hallmark movie that shows his grape-ier side.

Stephen Huszar

Even upside down, Stephen Huszar has the ability to turn our heads for a second (and third) look. While vacationing in Tulum, Mexico, the actor showed off his impressive gymnastic skills, along with some rippling muscles, while hand-standing in front of the bluest sky and an endless ocean. "Change your perspective, change your life," he wrote on Instagram. No stranger to the "shore," Huszar is known to fans for his role as Luke on "Chesapeake Shores," as well as Hallmark Christmas movies like "Undercover Holiday," and "A Royal Christmas Crush."

Italia Ricci

Sometimes it's nice to take a little break, but still be able to sleep in your own bed. Italia Ricci indulges in a little backyard vacation, after having been relieved of golfing duties with her husband, actor Robbie Amell. Excited for the break, the actor chose to do some serious poolside lounging while reading a good book and achieving an even more perfect golden aura. It's a far cry from the wintry vibe of her Hallmark movie "Love in Winterland," but not too far off from "Rome in Love."

Luke Macfarlane

Luke Macfarlane has been known to sport some stubble as the boyfriend of our dreams on the Hallmark Channel, especially in "Taking a Shot at Love," "Notes of Autumn," and "Christmas in My Heart." But this? This is a whole other level of hotness. The actor tends to make his vacations adventures in physicality, and sometimes that means climbing Mount Aconcagua on the Argentina and Chile border in a bright-orange parka and a full beard. Did someone say hot lumberjack?

Holly Robinson Peete

Sun-kissed and looking completely relaxed, Holly Robinson Peete is far, far away from the snow-covered charm of Evergreen. While she lounges on a yacht with gently blowing ocean breezes ruffling her hot turquoise suit, we're remembering her winter coats and mittens in the "Christmas in Evergreen" series of holiday Hallmark movies, including "Letters to Santa," "Bells are Ringing," and "Tidings of Joy." Yes, there's something to be said about fireplaces and snow, but Robinson Peete brings a whole other type of heat with this hot shot.

Wes Brown and Andrew Walker

Two of Hallmark's cutest guys, Wes Brown and Andrew Walker, in the same photo? Now that's some serious heat. Brown is the one who posted the pic on Instagram, using the hashtag #wedobeach, but Walker also chimed in with the comment, "I love taking our yearly summer vacations together," hinting this isn't the first time the two have shared a vacay. What they haven't shared, though, is a Hallmark movie. You'll have to admire them individually in "Haul Out the Holly" (Brown) and "Merry and Bright" (Walker).

Hunter King

Well, aloha there, Hunter King. We see you sand-surfing in Oahu, Hawaii, absolutely winning in a curve-hugging black bikini underneath the palm trees. A two-time Daytime Emmy winner for her work on "The Young and the Restless," the star made her Hallmark Channel debut in "Hidden Gems," then signed on for "A Royal Corgi Christmas," "The Professional Bridesmaid," and "The Santa Summit," securing her status as a fan-favorite on the network. Now, if only she could find the Mai Tai she was searching for on that Hawaiian beach ...
