Shark Tank's Barbara Corcoran Hired An Investigator To Spy On Her Husband (& It Was A Total Fail)

If you're someone looking to start up your own business, Barbara Corcoran is most likely your spirit animal. The Jersey-born businesswoman famously turned a $1,000 loan into a thriving $5 billion real estate business that's earned her the title of "the queen of New York real estate." Along with being one of the recurring investors on ABC's hit show "Shark Tank," Corcoran also makes time to give motivational speeches at events to her many followers.

However, even the savviest Sharks have moments where they get things wrong. In the most tell-all "Get Ready With Me" ever, Corcoran sat in the makeup chair and dished out a jaw-dropping cheating story about her husband, Bill Higgins. There are a few telltale signs that will help you figure out if your man is cheating on you, but sometimes, as in this case, not all is as it appears. Corcoran's story involves an FBI agent, some big purchases, and a shocking "affair" that shows how jumping to conclusions can lead to some funny results.

A tarot card reading had Corcoran turning to a private investigator for help

In a video shared on her Instagram account, a stunning Barbara Corcoran is seen having her makeup applied by her glam team as she spills the story of how she caught her husband cheating on her ... sort of. Her tale begins at a party where she met a psychic who read her tarot cards. At a party where you're in high spirits (no pun intended), the last thing you'd expect is to hear some bad news from a psychic. Unfortunately, that's exactly what was in the cards for the business entrepreneur.

"She pulled out the first card and said, 'Your husband is cheating on you with a woman in New Jersey,'" the "Shark Tank" judge said. Her husband is Bill Higgins, the man she's been married to for more than 30 years (via Instagram). What Corcoran did in response to the unlucky card reading is something we find very fitting for one of the most hardcore Sharks in "Shark Tank" history — she hired an ex-FBI agent to follow her husband around and bring her back answers.

"My husband used to be an FBI agent," she illuminated. "So, I had an FBI agent following around an FBI agent!"

Secret photographs showed a different kind of 'affair'

Barbara Corcoran's hired agent delivered the goods, but it wasn't quite the news the millionaire had been expecting.  As he laid out photographs he'd taken of her husband, the agent explained that Bill Higgins was indeed having an affair, as per her Instagram. But hold the shocked gasps. The affair wasn't with another woman. Instead, in a hilarious twist, Higgins had an unhealthy relationship with buying books and gadgets from Barnes & Noble, as evidenced by his ever-growing stash of bookstore buys he tucked away in his office.

While this Shark doesn't believe in saving money, she was not happy to find out her husband was wasting money so frivolously. "I took all of his credit cards away and signed him up for Shoppers Anonymous," she joked via her Instagram clip, before closing her story out with this funny warning: "Don't believe everything you hear, especially from a party psychic!"

We have a feeling psychics wanting to test their business ideas at the "Shark Tank" shouldn't get their hopes up for receiving an offer from this particular Shark.
