What Happened To Colleen Reed And Matt Bolton From Love Is Blind Season 3?
Colleen Reed and Matt Bolton were one of only two couples to get married on Season 3 of "Love is Blind." They made it to the altar together with Alexa Alfia and Brennon Lemieux. We're happy to report both couples are still married.
Reed and Bolton had a roller-coaster relationship. Bolton threatened to leave the show more than once, and Reed questioned if love was enough to tie the knot. However, the sales executive and ballet dancer overcame many obstacles to prove that love triumphs over all.
The couple isn't afraid to share their feelings for each other with the world. Reed wrote in an Instagram post, "A year and a half later and I continue to love you more and more each day. You are my love, my person, my best friend." Bolton also penned a heartfelt message saying, "Love is never easy and it takes work, but I wouldn't want it with anyone else." Now, the married pair has more news to share about the next step in their relationship — living together.
The spouses are finally roomies
Colleen Reed and Matt Bolton are a part of the small circle of "Love is Blind" couples who are still together. Reed revealed on the insider podcast "Out of the Pods" that after love and marriage, they are finally becoming roommates. She shared, "We don't have the finances to buy, by any means, but we're going to rent in Dallas and then that gives us time to really find the perfect home for what works for us."
Although it's finally official, Reed and her husband have already shared lots of time together under one roof. "We practically live together already. He basically stays at my place because it's closer to work," she said. "I don't think he's gone to his place once in the past month. So I'm excited to live with him outside of a studio."
Plus, the couple had a brief stint sharing a room after getting engaged on the reality show. They lived together before the season finale, where they went from fiancés to newlyweds. So, why did it take them two years of marriage to cohabitate full-time?
What took Colleen Reed and Matt Bolton so long to live together?
The pair is definitely in love but most likely tied the knot in just a few months because of the fast pace show. In an interview with Us Weekly, Matt Bolton revealed, "It was more of us 'cause [the show] is such an expedited process, we knew that we loved each other and that we wanted to be with each other, but we still kind of wanna do it on our terms. And by saying that, I just mean continuing to get to know each other. Moving in with each other is a huge step."
So despite being able to file taxes jointly, Colleen Reed and Bolton still wanted to take things slow. It might be reality TV to us, but it's real life for them. In the "Love Is Blind" reunion, Reed even raved about her husband saying, "I can't wait to move in with him and I'm going to spend the rest of my life with him." It seems like everything is falling into place for the happy couple.
