BravoCon 2022: Joe Gorga Doesn't Think Teresa's Marriage Will Last
Siblings Teresa Giudice and Joe Gorga of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" have been feuding and making up ever since Gorga and his wife Melissa joined the Bravo reality series during its third season in 2011. From their very first episode together, Joe and Teresa, who has been a regular since Season 1, clashed, with Joe calling his sister "garbage" during his son's christening, according to People. The root of the sibling's feud has always seemed to be the conflict between Teresa and Melissa. Throughout the years, Teresa has accused Melissa of being a gold digger and cheating on Joe — but Melissa has always said neither was true. Teresa and her ex-husband's prison sentences on federal fraud charges seemed to unite the family in 2013, but the siblings eventually resumed fighting after her release and return to the show.
While Joe and his sister didn't appear to interact during this weekend's BravoCon 2022, that doesn't mean they didn't throw shade at each other during their respective panels. During a Truth or Drink Q&A, Melissa received the question "What do you think will last longer: Joe's stand-up career or Luis & Teresa's marriage?" While the audience roared with delight, Melissa reached for a drink to avoid answering. However, Joe was eager to give his opinion, according to a reporter from The List.
Joe didn't even attend his sister's wedding
Joe Gorga might have made his fortune by flipping houses, but he decided to pursue a career in stand-up comedy in 2019, according to Bravo's The Daily Dish. At the time, Teresa Giudice showed support for her brother, writing in an Instagram post, "My brother @joeygorga made me laugh my entire life! Now, you guys will all get to experience how funny he really is!" At this year's BravoCon, Joe didn't return the show of support for his sister's August wedding to businessman Luis Ruelas. In fact, Joe and Melissa Gorga didn't even attend Teresa's wedding, and the reason seems to be due to drama that was filmed for the upcoming Season 13 finale (via People). "Anything that we have filmed is something that I am not able to talk about," Melissa explained on her podcast "Melissa Gorga on Display."
Melissa chose to drink rather than answer "What do you think will last longer: Joe's stand-up career or Luis & Teresa's marriage?" Joe wasn't as diplomatic, jumping to his feet to exclaim, "My stand-up career, baby!" As for what happened to keep Joe and Melissa away from Teresa's nuptials, viewers will get to see it all unfold in the newest season, including a wedding special set to air after the finale (per People).
