The 2022 Dutch Bros Fall Drinks, Ranked From Best To Worst

Dutch Bros may be the newer guys on the scene, but it is anything but new to coffee. The now uber-popular drink spot first started as a railroad-side pushcart in Oregon in 1992. Its success was eminent and after expanding and franchising its business, Dutch Bros is now in 11 states, and more are on the way.

If you are lucky enough to have a Dutch Bros near you, you don't want to miss out on the fall drinks. According to A Cup Every Day, Dutch Bros released its fall menu on September 1, bringing back old favorites and showcasing a brand new one, which includes a mix of ingredients you may not find at other chain coffee shops. If you are ready to sip on something that makes you feel like cuddling up on the couch and turning on a Hallmark movie, but aren't sure which to try first, look no further. We ranked all of Dutch Bros' fall drinks from best to worst.

1. Caramel Pumpkin Brulee

Dutch Bros fans loved this one so much last year, the company decided to bring it back again — and for good reason. This one is at the top of our list because not only is it quintessentially fall, but it is also delicious. According to a recent Dutch Bros press release, the caramel pumpkin brulee includes "pumpkin and salted caramel topped with pumpkin drizzle, raw sugar sprinkles and Dutch Bros' signature Soft Top." If you are new to Dutch, a soft top is similar to sweet cream and is a "mixture of heavy cream, buttermilk, sugar, and vanilla" (via Recipe Marker). This can be added to any drink, but it is especially delicious on their fall favorites. Plus, you can order the caramel pumpkin brulee as a cold brew, breve style — their version of mixing coffee with half-n-half — or even as a frozen beverage.

2. Sweater Weather Chai

This one almost made the top of our list for its name alone. The newcomer to the Dutch Bros fall menu is made for chai lovers. According to A Cup Every Day, this drink is a spin on the dirty chai, but it takes the classic drink up a notch. Dutch Bros mixes white coffee, white chocolate, and chai and tops it with their signature Soft Top, nutmeg, and cinnamon. And while this drink may be delicious, it can also be a bit dangerous: the caffeine in this one is doubled by the combination of coffee and chai, so try not to drink it too close to bedtime. Order this one hot or iced.

3. Vampire Slayer

If you aren't into coffee but still searching for a caffeine boost, you may want to consider the other side of the Dutch Bros menu. They have their own signature energy drink called Dutch Bros Rebel™ Energy Drink, and in October, they create some spooky and tasty spins on the classic drink. The Vampire Slayer mixes the energy drink with a blend of strawberry and pomegranate. This sweet, blended drink is great for a midday pick-me-up and if you just aren't quite ready for the cold weather, it still gives us feelings of summer when we take a sip. Just be warned: this one is only available in the month of October.

4. Unicorn Blood

We may not be too keen to drink any type of blood, nevertheless unicorn blood, but one sip of this one may have us changing our minds. Similar to the Vampire Slayer, the Unicorn Blood drink mixes strawberry and almond syrups and white chocolate sauce with their signature energy drink. Dutch Bros recommends topping it off with whipped cream or their Soft Top and don't worry — they assure us that no unicorns were harmed while making this tasty drink. It's also only available throughout October, so be sure to try it before it's gone.

5. Fall flavors to mix into your staple drink order

If none of the above are truly speaking to you, you're in luck. Dutch Bros has something for everyone on its menu and if you want a taste of fall without ordering a premade drink, consider blending in one of their fall flavors to your staple drink order. If you love espresso, A Cup Every Day recommends pairing it with their Flap Jack flavor — which combines salted caramel, white chocolate, and vanilla — or their Snickerdoodle flavor — which has cinnamon, chocolate macadamia nut, white chocolate, and cinnamon sprinkles.

Most of the fall-inspired drinks are only available until October 31. Their holiday menu will be released shortly after.
